how does the second WOC show re lining up etc?

Hi All,

I've booked the WOC dining package (first show of the night), and I'm thinking about switching to the second. Since the first show is at 9:05, and the second at 10:30, how do they control the crowds? Do people still show up and wait it out hours in advance for the second show?

The times you quote are Fantasmic times and not WOC. Which show are you asking about?

Not to mention, am I correct in thinking that PD is only for the first showing and that in any later showings of WoC the PD section is part of the blue FP section??

It is my understanding that on nights with 2-3 WOC shows they do PD for two shows. If there is a third show no PD for that.

whoops, i do mean WOC - 9:00 and 10:15. I'll be there on the first Saturday of November, they are only listing two shows on the website.

Yes and that is probably correct. The 3rd show is added if demand warrants. They have only done it on the Fridays that DL has had halloween parties and people come over from DL to DCA in the evening. Otherwise there hasn't been three shows in a night since summer.

Do the first show if you can. You will not be as tired and will enjoy the show more.

They have places for the second show to line up based on color. They use different areas of the park for 2nd show lineups. People do show up early for the second show but not as early as first show because there is only 75 minutes in between the shows.

If you were not doing preferred dining the maybe 2nd show would be better. Since you are doing PD go ahead and do the first show and get there early.

Well techinically not a weekend, but to DL yes. The Fridays that they had MHP they added the third show. I think Disneland1951 and or Albort said about 10K extra people where coming over to DCA in the evening and they added the third show so far on both Fridays and it's expected to continue. I imagine since the final party is on Halloween day a Sunday that will have 3 also.

I suspect we will have three shows also on the busy last week of December as well.
