How does the Halloween Private Party work...

This is TRUE!! Read it on disneys.com official blog site. =)

OK, we are AP's and would want to spend most of the day in the park plus the MHP, can we still get in early, or just put on the wristband at a certain time, or what... Never done this deal so still a bit confused.... (spend most of my life that way but thats a secret so keep it on the down low please....)

If you have admission to the Park AND tickets to the Party, you can enter when the Park opens and stay through to the end of the Party by doing exactly what you said, putting on your wristband once the Park closes to the general guest.

If you have admission to the Park, but don't have a ticket to the Party, you can enter the Park when it opens and must leave once the Park general hours end.

OK, that helps a lot.. thanks.. Ya know, if I was somebody who had planned, say a 2 day trip and hadn't been watching the boards for info on all this, I would be pretty PO'd about getting kicked out of the park early or getting asked to pony up another $50 a head to stay.... I wonder how the CM's are trained to handle customers who just say "NO, I paid my money and I ain't leaving 'til I get my moneys worth..." There gotta be a few of those around, they have at least one in every crowd... From reading a few posts there are a few AP's that are already unhappy about this already. :headache:

In WDW, there are stations inside the park to get your wristbands for the party in the afternoon of the party for those already in the park. Hopefully DL will do something similar. I would be curious to find out from somebody after Friday night.

You're welcome. :wizard:

As for people getting upset about getting "kicked out early," the published Park hours on Disneyland.com for every Tuesday in October is 6pm (and accordingly for all party nights). So - if you were not familiar with the DISBoards :scared1: and planning a trip, you would not even see the Private Party hours. Now, if you are someone who goes to DLR without even checking the hours for that day, yeah, you could get a surprise. :(

The park hours will be advertised in advance with the time it closes. The party is an after hours event so people arent really getting kicked out early. If Im visiting any theme parks etc I always check opening and closing times so I assume most people will do this and know in advance
