How does the bus work?

Is there a schedule or similar I could look at? We are staying at POFQ. I was reading trip reports and saw people say they got off at XYZ and moved to the bus going to ABC. How did they know they needed to transfer bus? I'm nervous of taking the wrong bus somewhere and wasting my time. How do I plan this before our trip?

There are no scheduled pick-ups. Buses are clearly marked as to where they are going.

Just remember:

Buses go from resorts to parks and back again. At the parks there will be designated areas to line up by resort.

Buses DO NOT go from resort to resort...you would have to take a bus to a park and then transfer to a bus that is going to the resort.

Since you're staying at POFQ, you can take the boat to DTD. No buses go from DTD to any parks.

There is no set schedule for the buses. They start running about an hour before the park opens and keep running until at least an hour after the park closes.

You'll walk down to the bus stop at your resort and wait. All the buses will have their destination clearly marked on the electronic signs on the front and sides of the bus. You would have to try to take the wrong bus.

Upon leaving the parks, there will be CMs stationed by the bus stops to let you know which number bus stop is going back to your resort. Again, look at the signs on the front and sides of the bus before you get on and make sure it has your resort on it.

If you're confused, ask any CM or the bus driver.

All the buses are clearly marked and if you're not sure, just ask the drivers. They're great about helping you figure how to get to where you want to go. Or just ask anyone at the bus stops. You'll always find at least one resident Disney expert in every 5 people!

Maybe at DTD or something when they hit a few different resorts, or Magical Express. There they hit saratoga, OKW, POFQ, & POR.
