How does summer concert series work?

I've just realized we're going to be there for the first of the summer concert series this year, and I know NOTHING about it. Where is the concert, exactly? Is it a separate ticketed thing? How does it impact the parks?

Can someone please give me the idiots guide to this?

Hi, Megan. We will be there on 6/16 for the ZZ Top/3 Doors Down concert. I'm going to Sea World that day but my hubby would flip out if he could see ZZ Top.

I found this on their website - "The Summer Concert Series performances are included with your admission to Universal Studios Florida® or your Annual Pass."

They are in included with paid admission to UNiversal Studios. The concert is held in the music plaza right in front of Rip Ride Rockit.

The concert is held in the music plaza right in front of Rip Ride Rockit.

Correct...the concerts are held in the UMP (Universal Music Plaza).
