How does Magic Express deliver bags late at night?

Our flight gets in at 9pm, so we'll probably head straight to bed (packing overnight items in carry-ons) when we get to the hotel. I know they deliver luggage up to 3 hours later... we'll be asleep! Do they just knock?
 
Yes, they just knock. You can always tell the front desk when you're checking in that you would like Bell Services to hold your luggage until the morning. Then call Bell Services when you get up in the morning and ask them to bring up your luggage. You will have to be in the room for them to bring them up.
 
We got in late around 9:00pm, and I waited up till 2AM, and they never came. I had to call the next morning and they seemed so surprised that we didn't have our luggage yet. They finally brought it to us.
 
DME luggage delivery is approx 3 - 4 hours after you arrive at the resort so let bell services know you do not want your bags delivered until morning and then put the Do Not Disturb sign on your door.
 

You can also pick up your luggage at baggage claim before going to the busses and take it with you. Just because they send you the tags doesn't mean you HAVE to use them.
 
That late, I'd do exactly that - don't put the tags on your bags, and pick them up yourself before going to the bus. I did that once.
 
We flew in late due to flight delay...got in at 11:30. They came in the room in the middle of the night. We were at OKW 1 bedroom...I heard the door and ran down the hall to the man rolling the bags in. I was quite surprised thinking they would hold until morning. He scared me.
Answer: They deliver in the middle of the night. With a regular room I would have them hold luggage till morning. Lesson learned.
 
At the resorts with 24-hour bell services luggage should be delivered throughout the night, as PPs have noted, unless you arrange to have it held until the morning. If you want to do the latter, I would suggest notifying bell services directly AND putting out your do-not-disturb sign just in case they lose or fail to heed your instructions. Note that at the value resorts luggage services closes at some point in the night and won't deliver bags until the morning.
 
Baggage claim has always been super quick for us. So we wait no more than 20m max and take our bags to the bus. Get off and bring them in. I will always choose to do this!
 
We have had them knock on the door at 1 am, and then we have woken up to no luggage a few times. In those instances, we have called the front desk and found out that they held our luggage because it was very late and they brought it up immediately.

We always pack essentials in our carry-ons so if they hold it, it doesn't matter to us.
 
I got in late once, and asked they held my bags. I was exhausted and just wanted to sleep. Bell services came by at 7 am the next morning. Earlier than I would have liked, but had I been eager to get up and go to the parks it would have been a perfect time.
