when half of your group is using the dining plan and half isn't? We are going in October with my sister and her husband. They will have the dining plan and we won't but we want to eat our sit-down meals together. I'm assuming there's a way they figure that out for you but I just wanted to hear from people who have done it exactly how it's done.

Just tell the server who's on plan and who isn't. The check will be split up accordingly.

Same principle applies if a table contains multiple "parties" with different DDP plans.
