How does it work when you check out and then go to Parks?

We are checking out of Pop, having a last day in the parks and then have a towncar picking us up at 4.30. How does that work? Do we check out and then they hold our bags there, and then we go back there to meet our car? What time is check out at Pop? I hate the idea of nowhere to change or anything before our flight

You can have the pop Century luggage service pick up your luggage the morning of check out and hold it for you that day. Check out is 11:00 AM. There are showers and bathrooms at the pools, but unless you pay for another night in your room I don't see how you'll have a place to freshen up other than that. I think even late check out is 1:00. You can return to the pop to pick up your lugage and catch the towncar. Hope this helps!

We had the same situation at VWL earlier this week, only our plane wasn't leaving til nearly 10 p.m. We had VWL pick up our bags and hold them, then we checked out and hit three parks by 4 p.m. Back to VWL where we retrieved our bags and loaded them into our rental; meanwhile, we grabbed our swim suits and took a dip in the pool for half an hour, dried off, changed clothes, and packed our wet suits and park clothes. We were refreshed and ready to travel, though we still had time to kill. So, we took a DVC tour (they shoehorned us in at the last minute) and were impressed enough to buy points into SSR a couple of days later! Hope this helps.

We did the same thing on Wednesday. We were getting picked up at the Poly at 4:30. Called the front desk the night before and got a late checkout of 1:00 for no additional charge. We slept in that morning. The kids then went in the pool for a couple of hours. We were able to go back to the room , change and pack everything up. Called at around 12:45 to put our bags in storage. Headed over to MK. Had lunch and hit a couple of rides before returning to the Poly around 3:30. Got our bags out of storage and relaxed and waited for our ride.

We have exactly same plans! We'll be staying @Pop in Oct. leaving for airport @ 5:15 via towncar pickup. We've done this before, very easy. We'll check bags before leaving for the parks then come back and retrive them about 5:00.
