Hi All,

Do you think you would like "great moments with Mr. Lincoln" if you were from another country? I'm just wondering if I should put it into my plans - I'm kind of thinking I won't get the same feeling from it as most Americans would just because I don't know the history, etc.

Regardless of one's nationality, it's still a very technologically-advanced show. I do think that it also gives a very good overview of the historical factors involved, allowing one to understand it even if they're not up-to-date on their American History.

I'm Canadian, and I very much enjoyed it when I saw it (though that should be taken in light of the fact that I've lived in the US for many years).

Great question! For Americans it certainly carries a patriotic feeling along the line of Hall of Presidents at MK. For non-Americans I would guess it might give some insight into the American psyche. Yes technology is cool but much the same as used in AudioAnimatronics everywhere at Disney parks.

Hi All,

The is like "In Epcot do only the Germans go to the Germany pavillion and Do only Canadians watch "Oh Canada"?"

I'm imagine you are familiar with the answer to that. That said this attraction is not on the top of anyone's must see list. If you are there for many days you can fit it in.

I'm a Canadian EH! I was rather curious about it, so I checked it out on my Oct trip to the mouse. Thought that it was a rather undiscovered gem of DL. The way I look at it, DL discribed an important of USA history with class, and was nicely done. It's definitely worth a look at if you've got the time.

I personally do not care for GMWML, and shockingly, I was a history major in undergrad! Like others have said, the animetronics are very cool, but I was not interested in it at all. I remember coming out feeling disappointed, so perhaps the history wasn't up to par for me, and if I remember correctly, I was really tired.

That said, however, I would tell everyone to do it at least once, because it is very cool to see the animetronics, and it gets you off your feet for a little bit. :)

It was an overall nice experience for me. Only did it because we stayed 6 days & had the time to do it, most likely, won't do it again.

Just like with anything at Disneyland it's always best to experience it, you never know how much you could like it.

I agree with most of the above - I think anyone from any country could either enjoy or not enjoy this - it's not so much a cultural thing. We saw this in early October because it was pouring and we just wanted to duck out of the rain :) It was OK :)

I am Australian and I love great moments with Mr Lincoln. My family and I see it each visit. For some reason it brings a tear to my eye, so no you don't have to be American to appreciate it.
