We are an extended family, 6 adults and 5 kids (6 and under). 4 adults and all kids are staying onsite 2 nights in May. We often don't all go on every ride. Do you just show a room key for access to FOTL? Can we trade back and forth amongst our family members if needed?

Yes it works just like that. But remember that it really isn't "front of the line"; it is an unlimited express pass that gets you access into the express lane as many times as you want. You don't go to the front of the line.

There seem to be some people who misunderstand this and get to the park very disappointed.

Just a note: In July 2008, We had to show a room key for each member of our party.

When you check in we were given a room key for each person. We had to show them at each ride in order to enter the express line.
Once I left my DD's in the room and had to go back to get it because she wasn't allowed to enter the express line without it. She was 9 at the time.
The workers also glanced at the dates and names on the cards. There was a person in front of us at the Simpsons ride who was turned away because they showed an expired room key. Then they held up the line while they argued with the team member. Sigh.

The express access from staying on site was wonderful.

you are so correct!

i have seen peeps have to leave a line to get their hotel room keys for using the express line.

they do check for expiration on the cards just like you said above.

the op asked if they can share their room keys for others in their group, it could become an issue for them though.

i'm not saying a yay or nay on that question.
i steer away from controversial topics.

In case this hasn't been discussed, HP will not have FOTL. It will be open 1 hr earlier for hotel guests.

Minniejack - Is this true? I've read different things on the forum, some saying that FOTL for HP will be limited to only 1 ride per day. Where did you read/hear that it will be open 1 hour early? That would be fine. We're going in May and I just like to know ahead of time.

Thanks :yay:

I haven't heard anything about express or early opening for WWOHP from the many forums I frequent. Where are these tidbits coming from?

That's just what the Universal reservationist told me when I was checking prices for a Christmas trip.:confused3

Sounds like the infamous bus driver stories.

The Universal employee who booked our reservations said express pass for HP would be limited to one time per ride per day.

Anything is better than nothing!
