How does ECV rental work with HE and DA?

Bringing my huge Potter addict 78yo mom in August. renting her an ECV makes life much easier and moving through parks faster. So if you rent in either UO or IOA and ride the HE, what do you do at the other end if you don't immediately come right back?? I see the "Pram Parking" area in the pictures but that's just for strollers, right?? Any info greatly appreciated.
