How does early entry work for the partner hotels?

We're staying at the Econo Lodge Inn and Suites with the Universal Harry Potter vacation package. Part of that package provides early entry to WWoHP but we have no idea how that works - do we park in the regular garage? Where do we enter (is there a special early entrance)? We're Disney vets but have only ever been to US once before WWoHP opened. We have 1 full day and most of a second day before the Leaky Con events start, so we want to maximize our time. Anyone with experience of the Three Broomsticks breakfast? What's the menu like?

**Forgot to ask this the first time. If the posted park hours opening is 8am, does that mean that the early entry hour is really 7am?

Any advice is gratefully appreciated.

You park in the normal garage and head to the IOA entrance. Those with early entry will show their credentials (room key for those staying onsite and tickets -- I think -- for those with the Harry Potter Package but staying offsite). All these people will line up on the left side at the entrance to the parks. Anyone who is there early to line up for normal entrance will line up on the right turnstiles.

Make sure you are there plenty early since they start letting the early entrance people in about 15 minutes early.

The menu for Three Broomsticks is posted in the food sticky at the top of this forum.

:confused3 Three Broomsticks menus show everything but the package breakfast.

Has anyone here done the package for this?
And thanks for the parking guidance!!

It says "Three Broomsticks Breakfast menu" (just added it for you).

Thanks, looks yummy! The trip is DD's high school grad gift, so overplanning is a requirement since we only did US/IOA long ago.

Keep asking the questions and we'll try to answer as many as we can.

So partner hotels get early entry???? I thought that was exclusive to the three Universal resorts

If you book the package thru Universal online, you are entitled for the early entry:goodvibes

I was just on Universal site and it confuses me...All those partner hotels get Early entry for HP if I book on the site but I cant find anywhere that says that...would it be better to just call...

EDITED TO ADD: nevermind I found it

I didn't know this! Thank you so much! Got a great deal on the hotel too, pretty surprised about that, and now we get into Harry an hour early on 4th of July week! Woo hoo!:cool1::banana::yay::dance3:

What would I do without all you fantastic disboards people?!?!?!?!?:worship::cheer2:

I've gotten a vacation package before and yes, you will get early entry to the park. Your park ticket will say in the lower corner something like "UVP" - Universal Vacation Package - and with this you will be allowed early entry, guaranteed.

We are staying in a timeshare at Vistana, but we want to do early entry for WWoHP. My plan is to book a Universal vacation package at the cheapest partner hotel, as I am not going to actually stay at the hotel. If I book one night at the hotel and two days of tickets, will both days tickets be early entry? Do I actually even have to go to the hotel?

Any information on how this works would be great, especially from anyone who has done this before.
Thanks,
Michael

You should get early entry with each ticket. I'm not sure who gives you your code for the tickets...if it is the hotel or if you get it online before you go.
