How does DXDDP work if we decide to become AP holders?

We like to include DXDDP for our trips, we enjoy signature meal and character breakfast are a must. We are Florida residents and are thinking about doing the premiere annual pass, We only live 45 min away now. I like everything being paid for up front.

Here are a few questions:
Can you book room, and DXDDP only?
I thought that you had to book park tickets with all packages how does this work and any suggestion that have worked for you.

Can you use the AP holders discount and add DXDDP?

What do you think about tables in wonderland? Is it worth it?

Yes, you can book an AP + Dine package (room + DxDDP) without having to buy park tickets . Certain promotional packages require the purchase of park tickets whether you're an AP holder or not, but using an AP discount w/dining isn't one of them . Sorry I can't help with the TiW card question, but hopefully someone will come along with opinions/suggestions .

Mickeynut1 explained the passholder + dine package perfectly, so I'll give you our experience w/ the TiW card. We had it for a year, and did not renew it. Both our kids are under age 9, so the DDP is a better deal for us. With TiW, you get 20% off your entire bill, including alchohol. So those who enjoy a couple of cocktails or a bottle of wine with dinner will do pretty well. Plus since you are local, you would save a lot over the course of a year. We aren't local and even though we go to WDW 2-4X/year, we still didn't save much with the TiW card (after factoring in the $75 purchase price) Also, when you use the TiW card a 18% gratuity is automatically added to your bill, regardless of party size. Even at buffets.

WDTC sells ticketless packages for AP-ers.
Although not all promotions are included as ticketless packages. (Free dining as an example.)
TiW is great, as long as you know you will save $ in the end.
We use to have DDE (pre-TiW) and stopped renewing. There seemed to be more unannounced restrictions, and price increases. Not to mention issues with discounts on (non-alcoholic) beverages. So we just passed. But many love it.
