How does Dining Plan work regarding nights stay

I know my question is straightforward but I want to get my head around it....

I am booking in for 14 nights, does this mean I can use my credits say, at lunchtime after we have checked in on the first day? And can I still use my credits on my last day of stay (ie on check out day)?

Yelp~ they expire at midnight on the day you check out.

You get all your credits for the entire stay added to your room key cards as soon as you check in. You can start using them immediately.

All unused credits expire at midnight of your checkout day.
