How does a speed scrap work?

I was going to post this on the the Post Digital Page thread - but I decided to post it separately as not to hi-jack that thread!

I was wondering how a speed scrap work?

Well, different sites do things a bit differently, but here is how Scrap Matters has their speed scraps.

Every 10 minutes during the first hour you get an instruction, which you MUST use on your layout. This can be picture number, paper number, colors, a type of embellishment, pretty much anything.

So if it starts at 7, you get 7 instructions at: 7:00, 7:10, 7:20, 7:30, 7:40, 7:50 and 8:00. You can then embellish it further as you please. To get an idea of the instructions given, look in the old SS threads, about 4 or 5 pages from the end you will find the final instruction list.

You have another hour and usually a bit of extra time like 15 minutes to finish your layout and post it in their gallery and in the correct thread.
