SIGH!!!! do just about ANYTHING???? IF YOU ARE GOING TO MAKE SUCH MAJOR CHANGES, why would n't you have at least a thread at the top.. SUCCINCTLY explaining ALL the changes???
hardly anyone knows what they are doing...

I jsut wanted to ask "why aren't I getting e mail notifications to subscribed threads." which turned into a majo cluster you know what and can't figure out how to do ANYTHING!

and did ANYONE read my notices about how TERRIBLE it is that you decided anyone over age 50 (you know,,, those of us who can't read SMALL PRINT!!!! are not important???

you guys are really making me mad, sad, unhappy, and can I say SAD?? cause I miss mydisboards. byut it is too SMALL!!!! and you didn't expalin SQUAT to anyone.

Actually, quite a lot has been explained. Have you visited the dedicated sub-forum here called "New Board Issues"? That's where you'll find lots of how-to information.

I'm not getting a sense that "hardly anyone knows what they are doing." LOTS of posters have been helping each other on the "new Board Issues" forum. Pretty much everyone who has given the new platform a chance is learning to love the new software. Could you just be overwhelmed and frustrated by change right now, or us there a specific thing you can't figure out how to do?

The implementation team has done a fabulous job of handling issues and answering questions there very quickly.

I don't understand the small font issue you're speaking of. Where are these small fonts? I'm over 50 (as is most of the team here), and the forums are very readable for me on my iPad, MacBook, Windows PC, and iPhone. Can you explain, or share a screenshot showing these small fonts?

I don't know how to do a "screen shot" I just know that the fonts are much smaller than they were before. sorry it took me so long to respond, I haven't been here in a while, it's too frustrating

Ok, my husband and I are both disboard members. but we use the same AOl server. we used to just "log out" and then log in. to switch screen names. (often, one of us, ususally me, would forget to do so, and hubby would post and entire chapter under myscreen name!! yikes!)
so anyhow. I'm trying to register him, and log out of my account and into his.

and , sorry, but we don't have Iphones, I pads, etc, etc. just a desk computer, and YES the font is much smaller than it was before.. I have manyfrineds who agree with me.. can you please make the font as large as it was before?

You can increase (or decrease) the size of the font for your own view. If I recall, either your or your husband has vision challenges so this tip can be helpful for any website that you visit:

Press and hold the Control key [CTRL] which is usually found on the lower left or your keyboard
Scroll the wheel on your mouse upwards (pushing your finger away from you)

Also, if it helps your viewing -- you can change the background colors for viewing most forums. At the bottom left of the boards, you probably see "Default Style." Click on that and the "Default Medium" or "Default Dark" options may be easier on your eyes. This can also be done by hovering over/clicking on your username in the upper right, select Preferences and then change the Style.

Since two of you use the same computer with different usernames, I recommend that you NOT check the option to "stay logged in" when you log in. That will help you and your husband to log-in with the correct username each time.

If you have specific questions about the new boards, there are many threads here on the Technical Support Forum as well as the New Board Issues subforum that might be helpful. Or ask your question. I also have a thread on the disABILITIES Forum with several tips and how-to's for some of the most common questions about the new boards. If there are more topics to cover, I'd be glad to update it.
