How do you use DDP at CRT?

When we went in August 2006 they made us give a credit card and charged it right away. I said we were on the DDP and she said we couldn't do it. I KNOW people can do it and it takes 2 credits, but how is it handled? Do I pay and then get a credit on my statement after the trip?

I would call again and let them know that you are on the dining plan. When I originally booked our CRT dinner, we were not on the dining plan. About 2 weeks before we left, we added the dining plan - I called disney dining and they credited my Visa the full amount.
