How do you tell your kids?

DH and I have just decided to tell our kids about our trip in Sept. The last 2 trips with them were a surprise, but we thought it would be nice to have them countdown and get excited for the trip.

How did you break the news to them? What special way did you tell them? I am not a very creative person and would like a special way to tell them.

Leaving in 8 days!!!! DD does not know. I hired a lemo to bring us to the airport. We leave on Friday. We will pick her up from school in the Lemo. I will pack her bags while she is in school. The lemo driver will give her the MNSSHP tickets.

Some people have put Disney balloons with a note attached in a box and wrapped it, then had the kids open it. You can search you tube and see many ways people have surprised their kids.
