How do you take a screen shot?

Are you using a Mac or windows? I think that you have to do it differently on a Mac, but I'm not sure.

Try control print screen then open up paint and paste..

Ok you seem confused so I will try and help you since I am a computer know-it-all

First which I dont believe anyone has said, is go into VMK as the character you want. Then go into any room you want (I prefer my room so people arent in my way). Then make your character stand in the bottom right corner so you can see their face and body. The reason you put her there is so that when you click on your character (go ahead and do that, this is also a step) a window will come up and it is also in the bottom right. Now your character SHOULD be standing right next to your profile window. If not, fix it so it is.

Alrighty, now look om your keyboard at the upper right corner. Now keep looking at the top as you go left. You will see a button that says "Print Screen SysRq" Well, Press that. (it is next to scroll lock and Pause Break)

Now open up any paint program. I know that every Microsoft Computer comes with "Microsoft Paint". You can find that when you press start >> all programs >> accressories >> then paint. Bring up paint, or any other program that you have but most people have paint on their computers. Find the dotted rectangle on the tool bar and select the part on your picture with JUST your character and profile window. Then if it has a dotted rectangle around it, go to Edit >> Copy. Then go to File >> New and bring up a new window. Edit >> Paste onto your blank page. Now you have your picture. (Make sure that you have made the drawing window smaller so its JUST your picture and no other white space around it.

Now you have to upload it. I use comcast because I have a webpage on there. If you dont already have an uploading system, then I know that photobucket is also good. Go to www.photobucket.com if you need too and make an account if you dont have one. Im not gonna explain photo bucket anymore becuase Im going off topic. Now you have your picture on a URL.

Go on to dis boards. Go to Edit Signature. Click on Put in Image. Now type it that URL for your picture and close the tag. Hit Save and you're done!

Yes, this may be quite confusing. I understand it but I do this stuff alot and I dont really know how else to explain it. This is really detailed to follow the steps! I hope this helps!!!!

I have always used [Shift][Prt Scrn] and it works for me.

Never works for me either, and I've tried every combination, from the single Print Screen button to holding down that +shift +ctrl +alt . . . nothing.

Are you on a Mac?
If so it is Apple(Command)/Shift/3 for full screen shot OR Apple(Command)/Shift/4 for a 'target' that lets you select an area to capture for screen shot.
