How do you split your Disney/US trip?

My family enjoys Disney more that Universal, but we always make sure that we squeeze in 1 day for both US and IOA. That might sound like a tight squeeze, but we always get everything done that we wanted to do. But if you are more into taking your time and sitting down when you eat, I would suggest more days. (But I don't really think it calls for more than 2 days tops). - but that's just me!!

How about this mix...
We're doin' up to 5 days @ US/IOA (got the bonus day tix), and a day or two to checkout the huge gingerbread house at Grand Floridian, go to Downtown Disney...but not the actual parks this time.
And then... a 4-Night Disney Cruise!!! Whooo hooo!
We have never been to US/IOA but have been to WDW (and I am going back in April). The time on DCL will be the relaxing part. :cloud9:

Honestly, I can't imagine going to all 4 WDW parks, not to mention all the other stuff Disney offers---Pleasure Island, Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach, etc. AND going to US/IOA in the same trip---unless you have 2 weeks! :faint:

Good luck with that! :sunny:

our first vacation to Orlando was two weeks...WDW, US/IOA, SW, Wet n' Wild, the beach. it was a death march.

you need to give up and just move down here.

Sounds like a great trip!!! Are you staying on or offsite at UO?

Four nights Disney and three nights on-site Universal.

Do Disney first. You will have FOTL to look forward to. If you start with FOTL, you won't be happy standing in line at WDW.

We've done this many times.

Have fun!

sounds like a plan......... :teeth:

We started out with about 4 days at Disney and one day at USO. Now we do about 4 days at USO and no days at Disney. However, we did go and ride Everest at AKL in March but really couldn't fill a whole day there unless we wanted to fill the day standing in line. When we go again in the spring, my 21 year old daughter wants to go and visit Disney for a couple of days and since my 17 year old son won't be along, that should be okay. He detests Disneyworld. He quite enjoys Disneyland though.
