How do you show her you love her? An engagement celebration

I'm hooked, love your report so far!! And I'm dying to know if you happen to remember who your guide was on the Great Movie Ride? My son, Pat, just started his college program 2 weeks ago and is working there! But he would have been a newbie last week or so. Do you remember that name by any chance??:)

I do not remember his name but he has curlier brown hair. Not sure if that helps. He was awesome though :thumbsup2

1/11/2009 cont. - Pop Century and Downtown Disney

After a relaxing journey in silence on the Magical Express we reached our destination... DISNEY! More specifically we reached the Pop! Century resort. Check-in was quick and painless because it was so late in the evening. We were in the 90's building on the second floor. I was a bit sad to note we had no pool view or close proximity to the main building/bus hub but what can you expect from a standard room? We checked out the room and unpacked our things before heading back to the buses to hitch a ride to Downtown Disney for a late dinner. Before we found our way back to the Classic Hall, however, we took a few more goofy photos of the resort decorum.

GiantPotatoHeads.jpg

We hopped on a bus [the only two on it, mind you] to Downtown Disney and were chatted up by a very friendly bus driver. He told us tips and tricks to making the most of each park when the crowds were low. He also explained the FASTPASSes to us since we were new to the whole game. He recommended Wolfgang Puck Express for a counter service dinner that eveing. :) We took this advice and do not regret it! Therefore I announce my first dining review (apologies for no images)

Wolfgang Puck Express (2 counter service credits)
Both my DF and I ordered the Rosemary chicken with mashed potatoes. For my desert I decided on a cookie and he took the creme brulee. :thumbsup2 It was amazing but there was only one problem... the servings were HUGE! We actually would have been better off splitting the meal as between the two credits we had an enormous chicken breast! As for the deserts, my cookie was taken back to the hotel and DF said his creme brulee was decent but a bit too burnt. I don't care for the desert, so I have no idea what this means! :confused3

After our late dinner we walked to now vacant Pleasure Island and down to the west side. We didn't shop much, simply took in the sights. On the way back to the marketplace we snapped a picture with my favorite lego created character:
LegoDinoDtD.jpg

After that it was back to the room and off to bed! I set the wake-up call for 7am and we both crashed around 11pm. Next up is Disney's Hollywood Studios!

Hey we were at POP about the same time as you guys. We were in the 70's buildings with the giant Mickey phone in front.:cool1:

Well it's been awhile since my last post. Apologies, I have been busy but I do have news! The DF and I have decided to get married down in WDW! pixiedust:

We've set the date (tentatively) for September 2nd, 2010. Some factors may push that to later in the month, but for now we're running with it! :thumbsup2 The countdown below is new and reflecting that.

I will update this TR soon.. I promise! Like, perhaps tonight, but don't hold me to it! :goodvibes

HI! I just caught up on your report. I assume you had a great trip if you are planning to get married there. That is so exciting! I bet your wedding will be wonderful. I am looking forward to hearing more about your trip.

Day Two (First Full Day) -- Disney's Hollywood Studios
I will be conducting a few dining reviews (again, without photos.. sorry) at the following places:
--Counter Service, Pizza Planet
--Table Service, Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic Package

We woke up to our phone call at 7am.... then snoozed for 15 min. :lmao: (So not morning people) The weather was very cloudy and a bit chilly. It was right around 50 degrees but I figured I'd tough it out in a t-shirt and jeans.
Anyway, we got dressed and headed out to the buses around 7:45am. We had to wait a few minutes but hopped on a bus with one other family and were on our way to Disney's Hollywood Studios. When we arrived it was a little past 8am and the turnstiles were fairly empty. I was a bit excited for I felt that the crowds would be amazingly low. Well as 9am approached the lines grew, but we were fortunate to be at the front of the turnstiles. They opened at 8:30am for the ceremony which was silly, but fun. :goodvibes
After the ceremony, we were off to Toy Story Mania!
We rushed with the rest of the crowd and bypassed the fastpass and qued up for the ride itself. Within 5 minutes we were on. This ride was amazing! I had so much fun, even if DF beat me. On the way out of the ride, we decided to snap this nice photo and meet with some interesting characters.
PixarPlaceMonkeys.jpg
WoodyandBuzz.jpg

Buzz proceeded to notice my "Just Engaged" button and get down on one knee to propose for me. I regret that the CM didn't get a picture of this! Afterwards we noticed it was only 9:30am. I would have expected a much longer time to finish up such a popular ride. The wait line for TSM upon our exit was 45 min. when we left, though!
Next up on the list was the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster. Again with this ride we literally walked right on. DF didn't enjoy this much, but I thought it was a blast! It was his first ever roller coaster, so I guess I can't really blame him for being freaked out! :rotfl2:
We decided to poke around in shops before heading to the Beauty and the Beast showing. We actually hit the shops before meeting Woody and Buzz because I was freezing and needed a sweatshirt! Anyway, at 10am we secured a seat for the 10:15am showing of Beauty and the Beast. This show became quickly packed! However, our seats were pretty good.. check it out:
BelleandPrince.jpg

This show is my favorite offered at Disney's Hollywood Studios! But I guess that's expected since it's one of my favorite movies.
The crowds (once we got out of the theatre) were picking up slightly, but still less than I would have anticipated. I was pleasantly pleased.
After the show we decided to head over to Star Tours and wouldn't you believe it... another walk on!! This ride is silly but DF is a Star Fan, so he enjoyed it. As we exited, we caught a glimpse of the Jedi Training Academy. DF had to snap this photo:
Vader-JediTraining.jpg

It was right around 11:30am when we finished watching the little Jedis. DF was feeling pretty hungry and suggested pizza. I knew I had wanted to visit Pizza Planet for the atmosphere, so we headed off.

Pizza Planet CS Review
We spent two CS credits this day on pepperoni pizza meals which included a mini salad. I have to stop here and say I was in love with the Italian dressing for my salad. I actually went and bought it once we got home!! As for the pizza it was very good... not gormet.. but pizza is always good no matter how you slice it! See what I did there? :lmao:
For dessert I had a rice krispie treat and DF had a cookie. We were so full we simply tucked these away for snacks later.
Overall, I rate this CS a 5 of 5! Definitely a place we will return to. In fact... we did later in the trip!

We're now halfway through the day so I'll cut this post short and continue it later. I know.. I'm such a tease!! :flower3:

It's a long story about how this trip came to be so I hope you're ready. I fully intend on reporting back after with a full trip report and dining review :goodvibes food porn shall live through my second rate digital camera! But before we get started on the birth of said trip, let me introduce the cast of characters.

Another fun insight into my craziness, I will post the Disney music I'm listening to while posting. That may be more for my fun than yours.
Current Track: Once Upon a Dream - Sleeping Beauty

(Me)Meagan, 21, full-time student; part-time OCD planner
I'm a student at the University of Minnesota Duluth majoring in English with a minor in History. I'm currently in my senior year :cool1: I approached this trip with an obsessive need to plan the last detail because it was the first time me and the future DH would be traveling solo. I've been to the world 3 times as a child, the last being in 2000. I love food (even if I'm too petite to show it) and the occasional alcoholic beverage (the whole turning 21 in July thing will do that to you). Thrill rides are the best for me, but I'm game for anything. I'm not afraid to get in touch with my inner-child because.. let's face it.. it wasn't that long ago that I was a lil tyke! Recently I was blessed with a darling nephew.. specifically in May of this year. I swear he's as cute as a button. I'm not getting baby fever YET, but needless to say the future DH may be a little concerned.

future DH, Matt, 20: Part-time Student; Love of my life
My fiance and I have been together for 3 and half years and have been engaged for almost a year. We wanted to celebrate the engagement earlier but saving allowed for a bigger and better celebration at the world! He's a big baby for heights, but we'll attempt to get him on some mountains! He loves food as well, though won't admit to enjoying alcohol. It's illegal.. He has never been to the World or even on a plane for longer than an hour! :scared1: The only downside to this is it will be a case of the blind leading the blinder at the airport. Matt is more of a "you do it because I don't care" type... the typical guy (apologies to DISmen) but I may convince him to join DIS and input his comments.

Here we are at Christmas last year. Mind the pink Santa hat.. I've worked seasonal at Victoria's Secret in retail for 3 years now. Would you like a discount? ;)

Up next will be the birth of the trip if I can warm up my fingers enough in the below zero temperatures.

You seem to be enjoying the trip together.. The eyes show the affection.. Having fun ...........
Cant wait to visit disneyLand

Day TWO at Hollywood Studios, cont.

I apologize for my massive delay in updating this TR. I've been super busy with schoolwork. BUT I'm in a very long 3 hour lecture, so let's see if we can't get some of this done! :worship: I beg forgiveness of you, myself, and Mickey for denying the world my Disney story! Let's continue on with the second half of the day. When we last left off we had just finished lunch.

After our lunch at Pizza Planet we were going to see the Muppet Vision 3D, yet found the line PACKED due to a tour group. I warn you that I will vent about these people frequently in this TR. So we headed back to the sorcerer's hat
HollywoodStudios.jpg

which, as you can see, was under a repainting construction. Luckily High School Musical was not performing so we saw a ton of characters out and about. We decided to hop in one of the lines since it was so short. This began our collection of autographs which are now in a nice scrapbook. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you me, DF, and Donald:
Donald-DHS.jpg

This will also mark one of the last photos in which I am in a t shirt!
After meeting with Donald who was surprisingly short (I mean, I'm 5'5"!!!) we headed to the Great Movie Ride and waited for maybe 20 min. Our tour guide was great fun and very into his job.. but then, he should be! It's Disney! The happiest job on earth, right? We got out of the ride right around 1:00pm and had to rush to the Lights! Motors! Action! Stunt Showing at 1:20pm. We picked up a souvenir popcorn tub on the way, however, because I was determined to start that collection! Anyway, at the show... this place was PACKED!! :crowded: But after finally finding a seat fairly high up in the chilly metal bleachers we were in for a great show! DF took hold of the camera for this show since my fingers were much to frigid from the winds (I'm not kidding by how high up we were). If I could fit all the photos on here I would because he took many. However, I will post my two favorites and save you the flipbook of images that could likely be made! He really enjoyed himself.
StuntShow10.jpg
StuntShow9.jpg

The show got out right around 2:00pm but it took us till around 2:20pm to just get out of the theater. Tours!!!!!
Anyway, we decided to scout out a spot for the Block Party Bash at this time. I won't give away my Ride Max secrets, but let me tell you :thumbsup2 you'll never regret spending the money for this little joy. We had a front row "seat" for the parade and I have to say... this was an amazing thing! We've never before seen it and it was so exciting and so fun that even I danced a bit :cheer2: Again we both got a little picture happy, but I will post my favorites. Maybe I'll submit some to the photo boards or create a photo board of my own for my 300+ shots.
BlockPartyBlock.jpg

ArmyMan2.jpg

BlockPartyJessieandWoody.jpg

We had the Toy Story float in front of us for the party which is what I had intended because it is my favorite Disney/Pixar film. After the Parade was over we spent a little time shopping around before heading to our dinner reservation at Hollywood and Vine. Now... prepare yourself... things are about to get ugly!!

Dining Review: Hollywood and Vine Fantasmic! Package
We arrived around 3:45pm and were seated almost immediately. This buffect was just plain awful. DF and I were a little hesitant because the setup was a bit questionable - things didn't look too "clean". We tried to make the best of it, but neither of us were really able to find much to eat. The food was cold and flavorless except for a bad batch of salmon which almost made DF lose it. Were it not for the amazing Fantasmic ticket that we were given, I would have walked out. I will never return here.

After a bad experience in dining we headed over to the Magic of Disney Animation. This was no wait and took about 15 min. It was interesting and Mushu was hilarious! We rushed over to the 5pm showing of Indiana Jones and were lucky to get a seat. We attempted to take photos of this but without a flash, there wasn't much to be done. :confused3 This show has always been a favorite of mine and it was a lot of fun watching DF who has always been a Indy fan.
All of this, however, was just a day building up to the final cap of the night which would forever change how DF viewed Disney. My favorite show of all time... FANTASMIC! :wizard: DF was very impressed and finally understood why I had hyped it up. The tickets from dining were well used because we arrived around 6:15pm and it was absolutely packed. I suppose that comes with 2 nights of shows only. I took multiple images at this show but very few turned out, sadly. I did, however, manage to capture a blurry dragon and a nice shot of the steamboat!
FantasmicDragon.jpg

Steamboat2.jpg

After the show we shuffled out of DHS and took a ferry to the boardwalk. We swung by the bakery for a few treats (he got a chocolate eclair and I got a strawberry tart.. both were delicious!) ;) While eating the snacks we decided to walk to Epcot to catch a bus back to the resort. It was 8:45pm and I suggested we head in and catch Iluminations. DF agreed and boom... two night shows in one night! Sadly, our camera batteries were dead so we did not get photos of Iluminations, but it was beautiful. My favorite part is and always will be the globe. Around 9:30pm we loaded a bus back to Pop Century where DF decided to take a bath so he could soak his aching feet. I wrote in our trip journal so I would be able to describe this all to you and we finally headed to bed after setting our wake-up call for 7am once again!

I hope you enjoyed our first full Disney day. Stay tuned for Day Three; Animal Kingdom! I'll attempt to get it out sooner than I got this one out. :cutie:

:cutie: Wednesday evenings are my night class which promotes much TR updating. I will be adding Day three, Animal Kingdom tomorrow evening. popcorn:: Hope to see ya there... erm.. here!

You two are so cute. Thanks for telling your story.

Aww thank you :lovestruc we're quite the fun couple at times. And so indecisive of our date. ha... officially May 27th but if I get accepted into graduate school then it will be debatable.

Day Three: Disney's Animal Kingdom and Downtown Disney

This morning we woke up at 7am and got dressed before heading down to the Pop Food Court for a quick breakfast. DF had a ham and cheese omelet and bacon which I picked off of because I'm not much of a breakfast person. We paid OOP for this meal but I was told it was decent.

We hopped on the first bus to Animal Kingdom which was very empty! When we arrived there were very few people mingling around the turnstiles which amazed me, but also made me very happy! :cloud9: it was looking like another day of low crowd levels. We were let in around 7:45am and held by rope for the opening ceremony. DF and I were right in the front so we had a great view.
OpeningCeremony2.jpg
TreeofLife.jpg

After the lively ceremony we were walked via rope to Expedition Everest. I was super excited for this ride because I'm a roller coaster nut and I had heard awesome things here on the DIS boards. DF who is afraid of heights took one look at the ride and :scared1:
"I am NOT going on that."
So I braved it alone, walked right on the front row (!) and I was not disappointed. DF decided to take this picture from the outside. It's too bad he didn't snag a picture of our coaster going up.
ExpeditionEverest.jpg

The only drawback to this experience was the cold air which made my eyes water terribly. It was maybe 45 degrees that morning.

After EE we decided to head over to the Kilimanjaro Safaris. On the way, however, we had to make a pitstop for DF who saw one of his favorite Disney characters - King Louie. And Baloo was with him!
BalooandLouie.jpg

 DF was so happy that I found it adorable! We scattered over to the Safaris afterwards and had to wait maybe 10 min before being loaded onto a car. The weather was warming up slightly and was actually getting quite humid but not unbearable. The only downside to this was the cloudy weather which made the Safari a little grayscale! But we still managed to get some decent shots from the few animals that were out and about in the morning.
Wildebeast.jpg
Safari5.jpg

Safari4.jpg

After the Safaris we walked a few of the trails and saw more of the wildlife. We were hoping to catch the afternoon showing of Festival of the Lion King so we headed to Camp Minnie-Mickey and met some crazy characters while killing time.
ChipnDale.jpg

Not to mention catching a photo of my favorite Animal Kingdom art. Have you spotted this in your travels?
CampingTrip.jpg

Festival of the Lion King is my all-time favorite show at Animal Kingdom because it is so creative, energetic and just all around fun. We were in the Elephant section but sitting near the lions which meant we were near where the Simba float comes out. I admit I may have planned this slightly :rolleyes1
It was very hard to take pictures at this event as my flash was too much light but no flash was not enough. Night mode wasn't too great either, so the best photo I have is of Simba:
Simba2.jpg

After the show we were pretty hungry so I suggested the Flame Tree BBQ since I have heard amazing things about it.

Dining Review: Flame Tree BBQ (2 QS credits and fries OOP)
DF had the ribs and I decided on the pulled pork sandwich. This place was amazing! DF's ribs (because I stole some) were so well seasoned that I wished I would have gotten them! I usually hate ribs... As for my sandwich it was very tender and not too overloaded with BBQ. We both dislike baked beans so we grabbed some fries OOP but were disappointed. They were soggy and cold, but that's expected due to having purchased lunch at noon with millions of others. Overall, we will definitely eat here again! I recommend it!
But the food wasn't all we enjoyed about this place. Our table was near a man-made pond overlooking EE and we had a few dining guests.
BeggerBirds.jpg

In addition to these odd looking birds we had mallard ducks and drakes who proceeded to nip at DF's pants after he had given them a few fries. He made some friends!

After lunch it had started to sprinkle but nothing too alarming. I had packed an umbrella just in case! We headed over to Finding Nemo the Musical about an hour early. The line was short so we decided to see It's Tough to be a Bug! since there was no wait. This show was hilarious and made me jump because I had forgotten about the moving aspects of it. We were lucky to be in the back and miss the stinky smell!!
After the show we got in line for Finding Nemo the Musical which was actually quite crowded by this time. Luckily we snagged decent seats and the show was indeed packed. I couldn't even begin to tell you how many times we heard "move all the way down, please"! This show was so awesome. We were both first timers and enjoyed it. DF wanted to take pictures but they all turned out blurry except for one which came out fairly decent. He was happy because it had the pelican in it!
Tank.jpg

When we exited the show it... was.. POURING! And I am not exaggerating! Luckily we had our umbrella because buckets were being dumped on the AK! We decided to head over to Dinosaur! even though we expected a long line since it's an indoor ride. I wasn't wrong! DF and I snagged a Turkey Leg (yum!) and got in line. It only took around 30 min to get on the ride. I am a big fan of this and was excited to watch DF's reaction to the bumpy ride. He was a little nervous but loved it. Our photo at the end was so funny I regret not buying it. Just imagine DF looking at the dinosaur with a "... what?" confused look and me looking at him in excitement for his reaction. :lmao:

The rain had not let up when we exited and it was now 3pm. We decided to go get some pictures with Tigger and friends while killing time for the parade.
Tigger2.jpg

We had little line for these guys because of the rain, I assume. After we headed back to the entrance so we could scout out a location for the parade. DF wanted to head back to the Safaris so we could catch the beginning and maybe the end as well! As we were walking over we found Lilo and Stitch. DF and I got in the short line to get a picture. Lilo saw our "just engaged" buttons and was so excited. She convinced Stitch to 'propose' to her while DF would do the same and the photo was just amazing;
LiloandStitch.jpg

We headed to the Safaris and picked up a souvenir popcorn bucket along the way. Unfortunately the parade was canceled due to heavy downpour so we left the park around 3:45pm and headed to the resort to change. Even with an umbrella we were soaked!!

We headed to Downtown Disney around 6:30pm when it had stopped raining, thankfully. We had an ADR at Planet Hollywood at 7pm. We were seated immediately.

Dining Review: Planet Hollywood, OOP
I've always loved the atmosphere of this place and it's been a traditional dining experience each time I've been to the World. DF was a first timer and loved the size and detail of the interior. He had the steak and I had pasta. Both were delicious but I was so tired and cranky from the earlier rain and canceled parade that I can't remember details. I always go here, but if you are limited in time you could skip it easily.

We did a bit of shopping in which we found an amazing multi-picture frame for $25! We also used up some snack credits at Goofy's Candy Co. DF got marshmallows covered in chocolate and oreos. I had a rice krispy treat covered in white chocolate, oreos, and a caramel drizzle. They were both so rich it took 3 days to finish them off!!
We got back to the hotel around 10pm and crashed from another busy day.

Next up is Epcot Future World... stay tuned! Thanks for tagging along!

Hey! I'm joining you finally! This is great fun reading! Congrats on your planning a WDW wedding!!:bride: I want to encourage my daughters to do it!!

Very cool pics of you guys w/ Lilo & Stitch.

Your AK day was our HS day & man did it pour!! One of these days I will break down & buy some of those rice krispie bar treats. But wow my teeth hurt just looking at that much sugar. It would take a week to finish one LOL.

Hey! I'm joining you finally! This is great fun reading! Congrats on your planning a WDW wedding!!:bride: I want to encourage my daughters to do it!!

It's surprisingly cheap for a Disney wedding. Escape package is perfect for us! I have a PJ up if you're curious! I will try to post price ranges as well.

:goodvibes Hi, I just found your TR tonight. Awesome job -can't wait to read more.
Yay! :cool1: I always love new readers

I know the rain was awful that day!! The rice krispie treat is great in moderation but quite the toothache! I usually don't do sweets but when in Disney, might as well, eh?

Great report and awesome pics coming here. :thumbsup2 It looks you had a great time and having fun. Looking forward in hearing more from you.

Have a nice day everyone. :)

Day Four: Kona Cafe and Epcot

We woke this morning at 7am and hopped on a bus to the Magic Kingdom. I was very sad to bypass the entrance and head onto the monorail but DF was uber excited for his Tonga Toast. So we hopped on the monorail and headed to the Polynesian. This was my first time seeing this resort, and though I was too sleepy to take pictures, I must say it is beautiful! Our ADR was for 8:15am and we got in right on time. I was actually afraid we'd be late!

Dining Review: Kona Cafe (OOP)
After pouring over the boards I decided to make an ADR for DF's benefit because he was fascinated with the idea of Tonga Toast. I was debating getting this, but decided against it and went with the classic eggs. I tried a bite of the TT but boy oh boy was that sweet. This place was delicious with fast service and we'd defiantly return!

After breakfast filled us up we headed back on the monorail to the TTC where we had to hop on yet another monorail to Epcot. We finally arrived in the park around 9:45am which was later than I intended, but I figured it was only Wednesday so the crowds couldn't be TOO bad. DF took a picture of Spaceship Earth. He was astounded by the size of it... but then, who isn't on their first time? :goodvibes
SpaceshipEarth.jpg

We also got a nice picture in front of it... except the sun was bright that day - even though it was only 45 degrees!
GlobeintheSun.jpg

We decided to head straight for Soarin' as we figured it would build up the longest line. We actually walked right on! :woohoo: I have to admit we were both apprehensive about this ride because neither of us is the biggest fan of heights. It wasn't too bad, actually, since you're lifted up in the dark and can't tell how high you go until you're already there!
After Soarin' we walked/ran to Test Track and saw the standby at 30 minutes. After grabbing a couple of fastpasses we decided to wait anyway. The 30 minutes was fairly accurate but well worth it! I love this ride and soon came to find that DF loved it as well!

It was around 11am when we had finished the two main attractions. Neither of us felt gutsy enough to attempt Mission: Space! We headed over to the "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience" movie which I wasn't too thrilled about (having seen it once, and that being enough) but DF enjoyed it. We unfortunately got stuck in aisle seats so the 3-D :3dglasses effects weren't very great. The show ended close to noon so we decided to scout out a place for lunch. Today was devoted to Future World, but we headed into the World Showcase anyway for some authentic Mexican cuisine.
Mexico.jpg

Dining Review: Cantina de San Angel (2 CS credits)
We each had nachos with churros for dessert. The nachos were alright, but a bit disappointing for DF who hates refried beans (they claimed they were unable to make them without). We had enough to satisfy our hunger, however, and DF found amusement in throwing jalapeno peppers for the birds surrounding the dining area. Sadly, they ate them. :sad2: I'm not sure why birds are so stupid.

We walked back into Future World and decided to swing by the Land pavilion for the boat ride. It wasn't running, which was a little disappointing since neither of us had ridden it before. We settled for the Lion King 'Circle of Life' movie since it was starting and no one was there. It was cute to me since I love love love The Lion King, yet I could see why no one wanted to view this movie.
It was about 1:30pm at this time and most of the crowd was thinning out for lunch and mid-day naps. We decided it was perfect for a little Epcot Character Spot!
Pluto.jpg

Mickey.jpg

Minnie.jpg

Donald.jpg

Goofy.jpg

Five character autographs later and we were ready for less waiting and more fun! However a nice surprise awaited us at the end of the line...

ALICE!
Alice.jpg

She was very sweet and asked us all about our holiday and how lucky we were to be engaged. :cutie:

After the character interaction we did a bit of pin trading before heading over to the Seas with Nemo and Friends.
MineMine.jpg

We spent about 15 minutes outside of the ride simply waiting for the seagulls to squawk "Mine, Mine!" :rotfl:
The ride was line-free and cute.. but the best part was Turtle Talk with Crush! Some kid asked Crush why he talked like a Hippie to which his response was, "Uh... what's a hippie?" :rolleyes1 the child proceeded to say "Uh.. some guy that talks like you." :lmao:

Our last ride in Future World was Spaceship Earth and, surprise! No wait! I actually love how they've redone this ride. It's more interactive and I didn't feel like falling asleep!
By the time we had finished Future World it was near 5pm and time for our ADR at Teppan Edo. I had been looking forward to this the entire time and it did not disappoint just like I will not not disappoint you because I have pictures for this one!!

Dining Review: Teppan Edo (2 TS credits)
I had the Steak and Chicken while DF had the Steak and Shrimp. For dessert we each had ice cream. The most important part was the grilling, so let me go ahead and show you our food, our onion volcano, and the steam that came from it.
TeppanEdo.jpg

TeppanEdo2.jpg

TeppanEdo4.jpg

We will returning here and I highly recommend it! :thumbsup2

It was 6:30pm when we finished up and right outside in Japan we found the candy artist. I had a white tiger made and we ended up staying to watch her for about an hour. It really was that amusing. I wish I had a good pic of my candy, but sadly the camera just wouldn't work. (Though I still have the candy to this day).
It was 8pm when we decided to skip Illuminations because we had already seen it. We took a few pictures in Future World before catching the bus back to the hotel where we showered and crashed for the night.
EpcotNight.jpg

GlowingFountains.jpg

I will attempt to update more frequently. I finished my scrapbook and that can only mean it's time to get my butt in gear with my TR! :upsidedow
Next up is MAGIC KINGDOM... the happiest day of the trip.
