How do you ruin Pitch Black @ HHN?

Have a couple who are afraid of the dark 10 feet in front of you light the whole way with green light sticks.

I flew down to HHN from PA again this year and went on Thursday 10-18. Half way thru Pitch Black this couple 10 feet in front of me got tired of feeling there way thru the maze and crack open 2 large green lightsticks.

My group tried to stay back from them but then the others behind us started to get jammed up.

Moral of the Story, show some consideration and if you are afraid of the dark or of the mazes, please don't ruin everyone else's experiences by lighting your path in the mazes.

Other than that initial experience we had a blast at HHN again this year.

I work in Soundstage 22 (Scarytales/Pitchblack) as a scaractor and I feel your pain man. I have been in pitchblack many times with the lights on, and it is an average maze with them on. There is no detail, just black walls. But with the lights off, this maze has a diffrent fell to it every time. And if you did not know by now, Pitchblack is the number one ranked maze this year at horror nights. The featured maze of the event was suposed to be Run, but Pitchblack has blown people away, and might be Universals best and most scariest maze in its Horror Night History. The maze is so good its ranking higher then the Bill and Ted show in the survays, and that almost never happened. The Amazing thing about the maze it only takes about seven scaracters to run the maze. Each scaracter uses about three doors to pop out from. There is a good chance you will be scared by the same scaracter three difrent times in three diffrent locations. But the key here people is the maze is called PitchBlack. And Most of the maze is in total darkness, in tight hallways. Thats what makes this maze one of the scariest mazes of all time. But you have idiots in line how wait two hours for this attraction and then will break out a glow stick, or a flash light, or even a lighter (major fire hazard). My advice to you is when your in that two hour line look around yourself. If you see a person with 15 glow necleses, or those stupid Devil ears that light up, MOVE AWAY FROM THEM IN LINE. But be warned without any light in this house you will experence the most scariest experience of your life. Because when you enter the house of PitchBlack I will be waiting for you in my skull mask, and attack you from all angles. I can SEE You! But you cant see ME! And thats the scariest part of the maze is were you will be attacked from next?

... uhh....

Bummer.

I noticed the same thing in the Howl-O-Scream walk thrus. The people get bunched up, and then you're basically following each other. You see the people in front of you get scared and then know what's coming. They try to stagger the people, but it's hard to do, they still catch up and it's one big line moving thru.
Increasing the stagger times makes the wait line longer. I dunno, I'd say to wait at the entrance if you can and let the people ahead of you get a good head start before entering. Then check behind you like mentioned above.

Oh, and whatever you do, never ride Spiderman in the front seat with a bunch of little girls behind you. Talk about screaming your ears off.

I rode E.T. with some pre-teens. I don't know what they said, but their voices were rather whiny.

Why in the world would someone afraid of the dark enter an attraction named Pitch Black? What did they think it was ... sort of black, dusk, not really black just want to fool with you?

The glow stick thing would really annoy me too.
