How do you request a cabin?

I have a few questions about requesting cabins.

• How far in advance can I request a cabin?
• How do I go about doing that?
• During peak season, arriving mid-week, what's the liklihood of getting the cabin I want?

I have never stayed at a cabin, but when we reserve our campsite we have our "loop" preference noted on the reservations.

For campsites during March/April, you have a better chance getting what you want coming in mid-week ... on weekends, the campground can fill right up with local (Florida) folks who will only be there 2-3 nights.
