How do you rent DVC points?

I was just wondering how you go about renting DVC points and how much can you expect to spend for 100-150 points? Can the points be used for meals or just rooming? I heard about renting DVC points on the mousesavers website and I think it sounds to good to be true.We are planning our WDW vacation for Sept. or Oct. of 2005,so I have alot of time to plan. I am from Canada so am I able to rent points?

For the answers to most of your questions, I'd refer to the first posting in this board - "How to use this Board- DVC Rent/Trade Board FAQ ".

For most of your questions, the basic answers are Points apply only to renting at DVC resorts, which you would "rent" from a DVC member. Essentially a DVC member would make a reservation for you at one of the resorts, in return for your payment.

One of the primary benefits of the DVC resorts is that you'll get more for your money as compared to an average hotel room.

I'd be happy to work with you to get a reservation established - you have plenty of time - reservations are made at either 11 months, or 7 months in advance of your departure date (depending upon the resort owned by the person who owns...)
