I usually set it up too pay it monthly for the first couple of months of the year, then when my taxes come in, I call and charge the remaining amount to my Disney Visa card, and pay them off.
Even though the numbers are small enough to make this a trivial point, for the purposes of discussion:
I've been thinking about this. Isn't it an interest free loan TO Disney? You are pre-paying for the upcoming January's dues. Technically it actually costs you more and earns disney more if you may monthly, right?

We just let them take it out monthly.
Even when you have virtually zero debt and we're only talking a few hundred dollars per year, it's impossible to turn down an interest-free loan, IMO.
Dues for 2007 are either payable in one lump sum by 1/31/07 or in 12 equal monthly installments from January to December '07. The monthly payments made in '07 are not pre-paying for '08.
Ok. Good to know. Thanks. So if I buy from Disney, I can get current year points right away, but spread out the maint fees immediately over the year? That is a nice benefit, especially for those with LOTS of points.
