How do you pick your FP+?

This will be my first experience with FP+, so I'm just curious to know when its my day to book mine how is it done.

Do you select what park you will be at that day and it will show you all the FP that are available?

or

Do you pick what ride you want and it provides you with a list of available times?

First you pick the park, then select your experiences. It will give you suggested times. The best thing to do is to just take the times it gives you, then change the times individually on the next screen. It's kinda hard to explain, but you can't select the times up front, only pick form several suggested layouts. If you are doing it as soon as possible (the ol' midnight FP hunt) then you should have plenty of available times for most experiences.

As long as you are an onsite guest, yes you can book for all days. Read mesaboy's first couple of posts in his thread.

If you are staying on property the whole window will open up. Prioritize. Whatever is most important, go for that. What I do is check with the fp choices that are availavle right now (within the 30 day window) and see what goes fast and what is still available. Gives you an idea what to grab first. Plus, like someone said, Mesaboy's thread tells you all the hard to get fps and strategies for getting them. Good luck!

Yes, it is all handled through MDE. I find using a browser on a desktop/laptop is easier than using the app. Read the mesaboy thread. It is the FP+ Bible.

best overall plan is:

read Mesaboys post several times

make sure you know what date is your FP date and remember the window opens at midnight Eastern Time (note some people have reported the window opening earlier but I've never had that happen)

do your research beforehand - decide which parks you want to visit on which days and about what times you want to have your FP - make a list.

Decide which FP are best for you in terms of time saved (see Mesaboys list) or things you really really want to do. Again make a list with primary FP goals and back up plans (just in case) it is much easier to have a list to refer to so you don't have to make plans on the fly

remember highly desirable FP (like Anna/ Elsa and 7D) can be hard to get so you may need to schedule them for the end of your trip.

if you don't have a package you can do some test runs at making FP online in advance (you can make them for next week /within 30 days) - just make sure to cancel them so other guests can pick them up.

Thanks everyone! I have a game plan for our 2 MK days, but am still working on AK & DHS. Our son is turning 5 on this trip, so I have been showing him ride videos on YouTube. The only thing he hasn't shown interest in so far is Splash Mtn. My 60 day mark is 12/29 and being on CST I will be ready at 11pm.
