How do you pay your MF's?

Pay lump sum with Disney Visa, forms the basis for the " WDW food fund".

Though the one year we had a lot so, I used some of the Disney rewards to pay for youngest DS's AP.
This is what we do as well. Pay in February with the Disney Visa, use the rewards for our fall/winter trip to eat at the resort. Usually only have $200ish each year, haven't had any leftover points yet ... despite the fact that we'll have $500ish in rewards this trip (2 years worth), I don't think we'll have any remaining ...

We used to pay with cc to get rewards. But now our dues are high (almost $7000) so we auto deduct from checking each month. If I were more disciplined I would do as some of you smart DVCers do and put away money to get a year ahead so I could pay all at once again. But the $70 in cc rewards just hasn't motivated me enough to be smart.

I charge everything all year long to the Disney Visa and then pay the dues with the Disney Rewards that I have earned throughout the year! :)

Well, for last year...

Our grocery store ran a deal where you buy $100 in gift cards (any kind) you get $10-20 back as a gift card to the grocery store. So, for roughly $1200 in annual dues I could get $120-240 (I don't remember which it was) plus I got the grocery store reward points on the purchase plus the rewards on my credit card. I watch every week to see if that promotion comes back so I can do the same thing again.

I even pay my Wyndham dues(I can have them billed monthly to a credit card, hello DVC you could do that too!) with my Disney Visa.

I have an ING checking account where I dump money every paycheck to cover DVC dues, APs, car insurance..etc. Then when the dues come...well due..I put them on a CC for the rewards, then pay the CC out of the stashed money.

I always file our taxes at the very beginning of February. Then I pay our dues with the disney visa and by the time the bill comes I have our tax refund to pay the bill off (always have other cash if somehow the timing is off). This year I upgraded to the premier visa just prior to paying dues, and just late enough to make sure my 90 day 5% would be in effect for our trip last week. I made enough on our dues alone to cover the annual fee and the rest was gravy!

I transfer money to an online savings account each month - DVC dues divided by 12 months plus APs divided by 24 months (we get APs every other year). I pay dues online in January with a CC that earns rewards.

I pay annually - automatically charged to my credit card.

We were never given a choice (10 yrs ago) if we wanted to do it monthly. I believe it had to be deducted from a US bank account in order to do monthly debits.

We switched to monthly for this year. I would rather pay it all at the beginning of the year and put it on a rewards CC rather than out of my checking account but we got married the beginning of this year with a long honeymoon at Disney. With all that I didn't want the large lump sum due at the same time and everything else. Next year I am switching back to annually.
