how do you pay with dining credits ?

I'm really sorry if this has been answered but I've googled and searched on here and all I'm finding is where and what you can spend the credits on

i, just want to know what to expect on how i actually will be paying. is there a dining card we receive? do they scan our magic bands? again sorry if this is a multiple answered question just need clarifying

They scan one of your magic bands. All dining credits under a reservation are pooled and one dining band will allow the server/cashier access to all of the credits needed for a meal.

You'll scan your band and have to enter your PIN code. Anyone in the party can do it for the whole party.

at TS restaurants you'll be asked if you're on a dining plan.
at QS and snack locations you'll want to tell them that you are on a dining plan.
then you scan your magic band and enter your pin.

i assume that because you already have your magic bands you are within 30 days of your trip?
you can check in online starting at 60 days prior and if you do that you can create your pin online.

You can create your PIN during the online check in, or you can do it at the front desk of the resort. Each person can have their own PIN if they want, too, but that has to be done at the resort.

That prevents anyone from using your band if you should happen to lose it somewhere. As mentioned, you'll either set your PIN when you do online check-in or at the front desk when you arrive. I use just one PIN for the whole family--easier to remember! I know if everyone had their own, SOMEBODY would forget theirs!

agree everyone should have the same pin.
my sister created one pin that we all remembered.
the pin can even be used trip after trip without changing it and even though my sister created it when i went on my solo trip this past april it "traveled" with me so it was the same pin then as well.

You can also use the band to charge tips back to your room account if you have a credit card on file.
