How do you pay off your disney trip?

I booked my trip in late October and I'm slowly paying it off in random amounts. I email my "Disney Specialist" (ps is it weird that I want to send her a Christmas card?) and tell her how much to take out of my account. Sometimes its 20 dollars, sometimes it is 200, depends on the week. Do you think they get annoyed when you ask to take out only 20$? I feel bad when I do, but if I have extra money in my account I will spend it!

Thought?

We are doing a DCL cruise next November and have purchased $800 worth of $50 gift cards from Target with their spend $50 get $10 special over the past few weeks. We booked this cruise while we were on a Disney cruise this past September so we got the on board booking discount - so this has really saved us alot of money.

I think what you are doing (paying alittle at a time) is great. Every little bit helps.

As a 'disney specialist', I don't mind running someone's card every month or once. It's just part of the booking process. I'm sure yours doesn't mind either. We get it, lol.

I pay the deposit, and then I pay the balance when it's due. (I use a CC...that I pay off each month).

I don't have a problem keeping money in my own account and prefer not to pay Disney before I have to.

I pay the deposit, then at 45 days out, put the balance on the Disney Visa. I pay a little bit each of the 6 months, and then I pay it off before the interest starts. I generally have all the money saved in my ING account before even booking, but I hang onto it as long as I can, and reap the benefits of charging to the Disney Visa.

This is what I do, too.

Totally Jealous of your job. I told my boyfriend that is what I want to do when I grow up. (25 now, but that is my dream job.)

My husband has a small business and spends alot on a debit reward card, so for every 20,000 he spends I get a 100.00 visa card and thats how I pay for about half of Disney and 100% of the flight down. The rest I work in the winter at a ski/tubing park to pay for the rest - which really its for my daughters gymnastics travel but we go to Disney every year so It pretty much only pays for that trip.

I take the visa cards and buy Disney gift cards or southwest, but I'm always calling Disney to pay with the DGC's

I don't buy until I have all of it saved up first, but I don't book a package either.
