Exactly what I was going to say. It's really great to chat with everyone in your meets thread and get to know them before the cruise. I booked my cruise about 1-1/2 years from the date and my meets thread already was quite a few pages when I joined. We celebrated the milestones of our countdown (like less than 1 year, and then 100 days, etc.). Now we are five days away!!!!

Most of my time is spent on the DIS - I love getting to meet fellow cruisers during the time leading up to the cruise. When cruising with a group, we have also thrown a party each month - each family hosting and planning the party around a port stop. As a family, a dinner each month with hand drawn menus and foods we love when cruising. We've borrowed travel videos from the library and had "discover ports" nights. Of course lots of time is put into planning what to pack, FE gifts, and our magnets.

I stay busy with all sorts of Disney related activites to keep me busy while I wait for next cruise. I visit DL almost every other week, I train for my Disney Half Marathons and other races, I plan my WDW vacations using my DVC points and finally I plan future Disney Cruises. Oh yeah, I also create a packing list of what I plan to take on my future cruises.

Exactly! My next Disney cruise departs 18 months from tomorrow, but I have at least 6 other trips planned between now and then.

I spend as much time possible on the DIS! I also watch the travel channel special on the Disney Cruise Line when I really need a fix....although I really really wish there was a special on the Dream!

I've been reading as much as I can since this is my first cruise. We are doing a few days at WDW first so I have that to plan as well. I know what I am making for my FE and it will be time consuming so even tho my cruise is not until January and the FE list is no where near complete I want to start on them soon.

I read the DIS daily and head to DLR as often as possible to keep the Disney Magic flowing. We are blessed to live so close to our happy place.
