How do you move a rug?

I put a stupid rug that I no longer like in my room, and when I'm in furnishing mode I can't click on it to remove/sell...my character just stands on it. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just a bug in my room? HELP PLEEEEEZE! Thanks

Try clicking on different spots on the rug. That works for me. Or you could also exit the room and enter again, but try different spots on the rug first

yeah i dont know why but exiting and enter again seems to do the trick for me. one of the many 'features' of vmk LOL.

Hi! First of all, make sure there is nothing on OR NEAR that rug. That includes other rugs . Now, try clicking on and around the rug. Your character is going to look like someone on a caffeine rush, but hopefully you will be able to get that rug! It took me a while to figure out I had to move most of my furniture to get at my rug.

I have found that I need to go to the upmost righthand corner of the rug. Find the spot (almost on the edge of it) when it makes the hand and double click. Hope it works...I know how frustrating it can be!

When that happened to me, I had to remove all my furniture, then it let me move my rug.
