How do you "mark" your stroller?

Last year was our first trip, and after our first park day I realized what a problem it is to find our stroller among the sea of strollers that have been (painstakingly) moved/organized by the cast members. Aside from the ideas that I have seen-mainly buying a balloon-I was wondering what others do to mark or tag their strollers to make them easy to find after exiting a ride or attraction. Would love to hear ideas!

I'm going to attach one of my very bright luggage tags. And a big gaudy ribbon on the handle.

I wrapped the handles in fancy duct tape. They sell it just about everywhere. I chose zebra print. I also tied neon green ribbons around the handles.

Picked up an obnoxioulsy bright pink scarf at Dollarama a few years ago. Tie it around the handlebar. One of the best tips I've come across on these boards :thumbsup2

It really is a time saver when it comes to finding your stroller. Especially when CM's move it on you when you're inside the atrraction...

Used a hot pink scarf given to my wife as a gift. It was H-O-T pink. We wrapped it around the handle of the stroller. It was easy to spot unless a CM had moved it. Gotta watch those sneaker CMs! ;)

Edited to add: Kimmer, the PP, may have just tipped me off as to where it came from.

We wrap hot pink duct tape down the sides of the handles. We never lost ours last year. Even when it was moved we were still able to spot it without searching.

A tip I found on here when we brought DS at 18months, tie a balloon to the handle.
Worked well for us!

When we stay at the Polynesian we put a lei, received at check-in, on the stroller. They stand out pretty well in "stroller parking"!

Before our last trip, someone on the DISigns boards made us a stroller sign. It has a picture of Stitch and says "Our last name Family Stroller"
I just printed it and laminated it and attached it with a tagging gun. It is very cute and has our phone number on the backside.

I've seen strollers with battery operated blinking Christmas lights. Might be extreme but...it got my attention!

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I typed our last name in LARGE bold caps, landscape orientation and printed it. I took that to Staples and had it photocopied onto neon lime green paper 2-3 times. Those were cut and laminated from one sheet and holes punched for hanging. I also received plastic pieces for attaching them to the stroller. Total cost < $5.00. I attached to the stroller handles (two singles). CMs at AK and MK said it was a great marker--8.5" long with our name on a bold color paper. :thumbsup2

I also use a sharpie to write our name in a couple areas not so easily found in case of attempted theft.

I did two things: the removable wall stickers--I put my son's initials on the back window part of the stroller. That was the first trip with DS--since it was a slow time of year, it worked, but not as well as I wanted. So 2nd trip I added a sign: Callan's Monorail with a picture of the monorail. Laminated & used zip ties to attach to stroller. That one works great for us!

I get the curly ribbon you can buy to put on a present, pull out the staple divide it up and put it around both handles :)

Make a license plate with kids nick name or first name on it and their fave character. My son had lightening mcqueen and daughter had tinkerbell. We wrapped battery operated orange Christmas lights (Halloween time) around handle and turned them on at night when we left the stroller. Easyeasyeasy to find once you get out of a show or dinner. $5 at a party store to buy.

Wow, I love the Christmas light idea! For those that attached a sign to the back handles, did it get in the way or get damaged when folding the stroller down or when transporting on the buses and such? I think this could be a great idea for us too, but we have a pretty compact umbrella stroller.

There is a thread on here where you can request the person to make you a personalized stroller tag/license plate ~ you get to chose the characters and wording. I think if you search stroller sign/tag/license plate you will find it. That's what we used last year and it worked great. We just left ours on when we folded the stroller and it held up pretty well (I had laminated it). At night we found glow sticks (bracelets or necklaces) hung on the handles worked great for finding the stroller - and they are cheap too ;)

Back when we had an expensive Maclaren stroller (ordered from the UK), it was butt-ugly enough that it was easy to find and no one wanted to take it. I never saw another stroller with the same attractive pattern :lmao:. One year when my DD was older we forgot the Mac at home (!) and had to but a cheapie stroller at Toys R Us for use at night and in Epcot. That one looked like every third stroller at WDW so I put a fancy ponytail holder with streamers on the handle. I got the ponytail holder from Claire's in the mall and it was bright enough to see from a distance and parked in a sea of strollers.

I made a sign for ours. I used a really reflective cardstock with silver stars so it's easy to see and then put a layer of white card stock that said in Star Wars font "My Other Stroller is the Millenium Falcon." And I found an image of the Falcon online and printed it and cut it and glued it in the corner then laminated the whole thing. I punched a couple of holes in the top and tied it on with plastic covered florist wire.

Regarding folding, I have a bob, and the sign sort of tucks into it when it folds flat.

I love our sign and I get more comments on it. At one point I was sitting on a bench feeding the baby while DH rode the Matterhorn single rider and the stoller was in front of me with the back facing a walkway and so many people were reading the sign and cracking up and giving me thumbs up. Oh, and since I had left if on when we went to Portland 3 weeks later, the TSA guys were loving it.

I have a god awful bright yellow scarf that I tie on the handles. No matter where it gets moved to, I always find our stroller. The brighter and uglier the better. Lol
