How Do You Make The Time Pass Quicker?

Im still a little over a yr away from going to disney and I am already going crazy! I mean instead of getting excited about my hubby coming home from his deployment in 74 days, Im MORE excited about our disney trip! LOL. Im excited about him coming home, Im just MORE excited about our trip. Hes due to come home on Oct 4th so hopefully cuz hes coming home right before the holidays, oct, nov and dec should go pretty fast, being the holidays I hope! Then I just have to get through another LONG 7 months! It seems soooooooooooooo far away. So what I need to know is how do you all make the time pass quicker to make ur trip feeling like it gets here faster. Im probably gonna take each of ur answers and try each one, LOL.

Break it down into small bits.

Look forward to your husband coming home. Spend time planning on special meals, or little celebrations for him. Add some Disney bits to that (get some recipes from WDW and suprise him?) to help him along the road to ultra excitement for WDW! LOL!

Research your trip! Look at all the information out there on all the different websites (and there is a ton of it)!

Look at all the options you have for your visit and then start weeding them out, leaving only the ones you really want to do.

Remember to keep things a bit flexible so you can take advantage of impromptu events.

Decide what it is you are going to wear, and get some of the things you can pack ahead ready to go into the cases. You could probably get your toiletries case nearly packed!

Of course you could make special t-shirts and all that sort of thing if you like to do that, or collect supplies to make a great scrapbook or photo album...

Get your labels or addresses ready for all those post cards you'll be sending home!

Ummmmm... that's about all I can think of right now! LOL!

Most importantly? Don't wish your life away. It will really be here before you know it, then gone in a flash.

Sorry about your long wait. Maybe it will get better after your dh comes home.

In the meantime go to Home Depot & get some Lime Green Mickey Head Paint chips, then come back to the thread "our secret green club" & see what to do with them. That should help pass some time.
