Does anyone know how to make the mini-games go faster? They all have been running REALLY slow and choppy for me today and I can't figure out if it's VMK or if it is my computer. When I restarted, I started a game of HM, and it ran better, but the second round it got difficult to control again. Since there are some tech geniuses on these boards (:)) who are a lot smarter than I am when it comes to computers, could anyone tell me if this is a problem with RAM or memory or disk space? Or is it simply that VMK is extremely slow today? Maybe the processor? Did I :badpc: the computer too many times? :rotfl: I don't know, :confused3, I'm clueless here. Help me out please?

Have you cleaned out your temp files recently?

I have found that if I do this every few days, or longer or every day depending on how and where I surf the net, my games run better.

If you haven't and don't know how, in ie, go to Tools, Internet Options, and in the General tab you should see the section for temporary files. Click on delete files. It may sit there and take a while, but it will get done eventually.
If that doesn't work for you, you might want to clean out the cookies too.
Then you want to click OK. And make sure to close out explorer and restart it.

If this doesn't help, then I'm lost. :)

It's because there are so many people trying to play the mini games at the same for the quests. It happens every time there is a VMK quest or event using the mini games. Nothing you can do about it.

Nope, didn't help one bit. I'm still jumping around the screen in HM. I spoke to a few others playing mansion, and they haven't had this problem. So maybe it is my computer. The problem is what? Gr, this is so frustrating :furious: :furious:

Have you checked for spyware on your machine. Might be a wise idea to run the check. There are a lot of free products out there if you google it. I used Spy Sweeper for a while and it seems like and effective product.

Also if your using a cable connection try unplugging your modem and lan line and then plugging it back in. It seems to help if your Modem is getting buggy.

Good Luck

I agree on the spyware, it usually helps run it and restart. I was getting the same thing today, but i did not stop to run it, I suffered through. I figured that is what questing is all about - suffering.
