How do you make dining reservations online?

Hi

In the past I have always phoned dining reservations but being from the UK it does cost a lot. I understand you can do it online.
Could you tell me how to do this?
What is the web address and what do you need?
We are staying at boardwalk and have booked via dvc .
When can you book is it still 180 +10?

I really appreciate any help (step by step would be great

When can you book is it still 180 +10?

Last I heard this is currently unavailable online since they did the system upgrade. I'm hoping they fix it before I have to make my ADRs in March.

I checked all of my dinning the other day(this past weekned) and the system seemed fine. You will need your confirmation number to link the reservations to it if you want to do that. It really is very easy to do and so much faster. THere are still a couple that you cannot do online like HDDR and Fantasmic Dinner Package. For Cali Grill I just gave them a CC # to hold the reservation. This is the link I use

I just google wdw and choose the disneyworld site. Once there, along the top will be a little box that says "where to eat" move your cursor over that and the top item will be "make dinning reservations" click on that and you'll go to the reservation screen. On the left will be choices relating to where you want to eat (each park and each resort and DTD) you can leave these as set 'no preference' for a list of every restaurant with openings or narrow it if you know where you want to eat. On the right is the box with the date and the time. I always choose a meal time - 'dinner,' 'lunch,' or 'breakfast,' rather than a specific time, then you enter your number of guests and click for the search. All restaurants that are available will show up. Click on make reservation where you want to reserve and then follow the prompts to input the information. Keep track of your reservation numbers as you go (though they should be emailed to you.)
You could do a practice run, making a reservation w/in the current 180 day window, then canceling it right away, if you want to get a feel for it before the real ADR day. You can also just try searching now by picking a day w/in the current 180 day window w/out actually clicking on 'make reservation' to get a feel for how to search for when the real day comes. On my 180 + 10 I had a list of hard to get ADRs that I tried for first, then could relax with the easier ones.

I just tried to make a reservation for within 180 days (even though our trip is a little further out than that) but it wouldn't let me. Does anyone have any information about why it is down and when it may come back up?
