How do you like your Animator's Collection dolls?

I got a ton of Disney gift cards for Christmas and I've been eyeing up those beautiful Animator's Collection dolls I keep seeing in Disney stores. I have my heart set on either Rapunzel or Belle:

Before I buy one, I want to know how any current (or former) owners like theirs?

How is the quality? I'm a college student so I'm not going to sit them down for a tea party (...probably...), but I would love a pretty, high-quality Disney doll or two. If there are any owners on the DIS who aren't a fan, I may skip them over in favor of cheaper dolls.

The current Belle is in her yellow dress, and I think Aurora is in her pink dress. They have changed these dolls over the last few years. You might find the older style dresses in the stores. The newest ones are Aladdin and Lilo (from Lilo and Stitch).

I chose an old photo for convenience's sake, but yes, I'm aware of all of the changes that the dolls have undergone. I regularly visit the Times Square Disney Store, and these dolls are everywhere-- love looking at them!

Still would love to hear feedback from someone who owns one and how they like it.

They are def not!

Playtime is a huge fail you cannot change their clothes easily and no other clothes fit them and there is not much assortment out there.

Also the hair knots very easily.

If they were display dolls their very pretty and accomplish that, if you're giving them to a young child think again!

Yeah, that's what I figured. They won't be going to any young children, and they'll be mostly display, but I still might take my funds elsewhere after some consideration.

I have a full collection of these - two of each (one for my collection and one for my daughter to play with). They are beautiful, I think. Tinkerbell is my favorite one.

Hi I have the Lilo one for just display and she is so cute. The hair isn't a problem especially if you won't be playing with it. It does have product but, all dolls do in order to keep the style. However the Rapunzel doll would have very little due to her simple style. I def recommend, they are too cute.
