I bought an adorable pix of my daughters in front of the castle right at entry. However, I have seen people with pictures of themselves in different areas of the park. I have also seen where they superimpose a Tinkerbell or another character in outstretched hands.

My question - how do you know where to find the photographers in the park? I know there is always one by the castle but are there any other prime spots for pix? Photos of my girls are MY souvenir so I would love to have a couple to choose from.

Thanks!

I only know of two spots where they take your picture, one is right inside the gates in front of the Mickey flower thing, and the other is in front of the castle.

In DCA they do one in front of the GG bridge.

Here's a pic of my kids with Simba when we went to WDW earlier this year.

They took this pic in the front as you enter the gates. In fact, we have others with different characters and all of them were at the front entrance. We haven't seen them do this yet at DL but I would imagine this would be the same.

Oh my gosh! They are so cute!

My sis e-mailed me a pix of her, my BIL and my two nephews in front of the WDW castle holding Tinkerbell. I loved it.

When we got the girls taken in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle, no one mentioned the little character they could put on it.

I'll definatly have them do that next time.

Thanks! We were actually confused a bit when the first photographer that came up to us asked my kids to hold out their hands. He later explained that they would superimpose a picture of Simba that you can purchase or email. I thought that was a great idea! I don't remember what we paid but it was worth it. I would imagine a good spot to find a photographer would be down Main Street heading towards the Castle. That would be an awesome picture with your girls. Good luck to you! I hope they do this same thing for you @ DL.

My mom, sister and I posed in front of the GG bridge of DCA on my birthday. My sister and I wore our Golden Ears and they added Disney characters with us. It came out nice, except all three of us had our sunglasses on! We still bought the picture because the sunglasses gave us that typical CA look! Okay, Mom said to the CM that she's from NY originally, but she's here now! You'll find photographers at picturesque parts of the park, but I normally don't wish to pose unless I'm wearing something memorable, such as the Golden Ears...and my birthday sticker! :earsgirl:

They also take pictures in front of Walt and Mickey's statue and in front of the Matterhorn. They usually take three one horizontal, one vertical, and one with a character in your hands.

We had tinkerbell fixed into our photo as well - and it was taken in front of the castle.

The special effects were, as far as I can remember, a free option. The standard photos (8 x 10) cost about $15 regardless of whether you had anything added to it.
