How do you know when FP's are used?

When we went in January NONE were used...if others were using them I didn't notice, it wasn't needed.

When my mom went in November crowds were there, about usual she said & FP's were being used. Of course during TG weekend they were in full swing (mom of DSs classmate was there).

How do I KNOW what to expect? I'd love for a quiet time like last time....but I'm unsure what February's "forecast" is....
I've long ago assumed it's my best bet....but I'm so frigging nervous to pull the trigger!!! ;)

When you get there, you can check the "wait times" board to see how long of a wait each ride is.

If you're going early in February, my guess would be that weekdays will be quite empty but weekends (including Friday afternoon and evening) may be busier. With little nighttime entertainment I don't think it will be TOO awful regardless. Later in February, there might be some Spring Breaks, but I think things still will be comparatively uncrowded.

There's no way to KNOW crowds in advance, though. I'm pretty sure the second week of January through the end of the month won't be too busy, but again, you never KNOW--you can just make a good guess.

(I agree that when FPs aren't even necessary, the park is just magical! If possible, I really think your best bet is to try for weekdays. Days when the park closes early TEND to be less crowded as well, but again, there's no knowing.)

While there's no way to be absolutely sure what crowds will be like, February shouldn't be that busy, especially not with the ROA being drained & it being (typically) still fairly chilly out at night. :thumbsup2

Thank you for the answers - I think I need to just convince DH this is a good idea. Not to get off subject but the pre-teen angst has set in & I really need to get there before my DD hates being near us! ;)

Plus the kids have teacher conferences so there's 1/2 days.... I'm rambling.

THANKS!:goodvibes
