You child's preschool teacher would know more than anyone here would. 
For example, my DD didn't turn 5 until the end of December when she went to Kindergarten. Now she is in 8th grade and is younger than some of the 7th graders in her school. But she can keep up with the work, so we thought it was a good idea. My DS, the lovable space cadet he is, couldn't have handled going to Kindergarten at 4, though.
