How do you know if something is included in DDP?

I think the DDP would save our family quite a bit of money....plus allow us to order things like appetizers and desserts that we wouldn't normally order. But....my husband doesn't want to have to 'wonder' if a restaurant or food item is included in DDP.

So, without having to drag around a list of participating restaurants and refer to that every time you want to eat, is there a way to tell if menu items are included on the DDP. Especially with the counter services and snacks.....I already know that all of our TS ressies are for included restaurants.

TIA!

You can go to www.disney.com and click on Dining Finder and a list of rest. will come up and if you click on it it will tell you if it's on DDP or not.

Hope this helps.

That's great for pre-planning, but what about WHILE in the parks??? Do I have to refer to a printed list everytime I visit a counter service restaurant or snack bar??? Or, do the restaurants maybe have a DDP sign or something outside so that you can tell?

That's a good question. I have never been to Disney before, this will be my first trip and a friend has been helping me plan. I'll have to ask her to see how will I know. I plan on having my printed list of rest. just in case.

Virtually all the counter service restaurants are on the dining plan and there is a DDP symbol beside all snack items listed on the menu boards beside all the kiosks, restaurants and hotel shops / foodcourts. There is very little that isn't on the plan.

Two items on the Wolfgang Puck Express menu - meatloaf and ravioli - are excluded. Add-ons are excluded - for example, if, say, Coral Reef offered a lobster tail as an add-on to any entree (they don't), you'd have to pay cash for that. Pretty much, if a menu item is priced separately, like side dishes at Le Cellier, you should expect to pay out of pocket for those. Now, you may not HAVE to, but if you plan for it you won't be shocked. But really, the included items provide PLENTY of food!

look for the purple logo that says DP on it next to menu items. I believe this is on table service menus and in the counter service, snack locations too. You can also ask your server before you order if anything is excluded.
