How do you keep track of the threads?

when you are reading some threads, and they start getting long, and you have to (gasp) leave your computer for a while, how do you remember where you stopped?
maybe there is a trick to this that i haven't learned yet??

I haven't learned the trick but would like to know if there is one. I have a piece of paper by the computer where I write down the page of the Angel thread I've completed.

When you subscribe to a thread you are notified when new posts come in. If you click on the link in your email notification, it will bring you to the newest post that you haven't read. That's how it works for me, anyway.
