How do you keep track of items

I just take DisKat or PurpleDuck with me with I shop and ask them " Do I have that already?" Its the easy way out

I don't really buy a lot of everything so my rooms are:

Emporium Store Room
Golden Horse shoe Store Room
Shrunken Ned's Store Room
Fantasy Imports Store Room
Inner Space Store Room
Game Store Room(game items)
Holiday Store Room

And then all my other rooms

Thank you all. I knew that all I had to do was ask and you would give me some great advise. Now I don't feel so overwhelmed after seeing how MagicalLadee has hers set up and I think I will do a spread sheet too.

any furniture I don't use in any of my rooms goes into one of two "Extra Furniture" rooms.

I don't have that many pins so it's not too difficult to scroll through to see what I have.

Just 'two' rooms! Aghhh, I think I have over ten store rooms now.

Oh you dont uderstand. Theres like.. A million of them, AND my character crashes in most trades unless its for 1 item. LOL. Blue saw them, its insane.. I buy like 10 of everything XD

Thats why i hate it when people ask me to trade and start piling on the random items.

Oh no I completely understand, I have bought 15 of every pin since I startede to earn nice credits since December of 2005. But I have never stored them on me - always bought and traded to my pin girl. You could do it but it may take you a long time. Another thing you could do, if you have it - is store your pins in a quest machine. But there are some rules to that - each row contains 20 items and do not surpass at least 50 prizes. Peeps who have gone over that have lost items.

Ask FlyingPegasus about pins, she has a boatload and moved hers off to make trading easier. It works, just time consuming.

well I keep mine in separate rooms. But have no where near most of yours. I keep stuff for a bit. But I am not a great trader so I run quests and give it away most of what I have. Most of the people who do my quest are young players who do not have much so it is a pleasure to have my version of garage sale. Think Hula should do it that way. But not have a timed quest that is not fun. Then VMK will not crash LOL
