How do you haul all your crap around the park?

Be careful about leaving food in the stroller. I've seen plenty of squirrels hunting for food in stroller baskets! I think squirrel theft happens more often than people stealing!

:rotfl2:

I agree.. whats gross though is seeing a squirrel just eat out of a bag left in a stroller then bailing out after a few bites.. you just know who ever owns that is going to come up and put their hands in the bag and start munching lol..

:crazy2:

Honestly, this is part of the reason (there are really so many...) why we left our younger two kids at home for our trip this February. Our girls were 7 and 9 for our trip and I carried one small crossbody bag (two days I carried a backpack...never again). No changes of clothes, on days it was supposed to rain I brought our ponchos, mostly it was just for the kids autograph books/pins/lanyards, coins for pressed pennies, gift cards, IDs for my husband and I, my camera, an extra battery for my camera, a portable charger for our phones and a few sheets of paper with our plans and tips for that day (I printed them off before we left home). Sounds like a lot but it wasn't so bad in that bag (lots of pockets, fairly small bag)

When you guys park the strollers at rides, do you leave the bags or take them with you in line? I'm just curious how this works. I Remember reading about an employee stealing stuff from strollers at one of the parks earlier this year.

We grab our camera bag and leave the other bags in the stroller. 10 years and a bunch of trips and we have not had anything missing. Rarely do we leave anything someone would want, maybe some light up stuff for night but that's about it.

I only have 2 kids, but here is what I did:

I always had a drawstring backsack. In it were a few large freezer ziplocks.... 1 with diapers/wipes, 1 with 2 changes of clothes for each kid, 1 with my camera/phone/money (in case we went on water rides) and any other personal items I would need, and 1 with paper stuff...park maps, confirmation numbers, etc. Oh, and 1 empty one in case I had to put wet clothes or the like into something. We did bring hoodies/light blankets for the kids to use in the strollers, too, at night, so I shoved those into my backsack at the end of the night, too.

I carried that on my back and pushed my kids in the double (park issued) stroller. We never used one outside of the park...not worth the hassle. So, end of the day, I had the backsack and any extras (bottles of pop, leftover treats), and DH wrangled the kids out of the stroller, returned the stroller, and we walked to the bus.
Easy peasy!
