My ADR window is coming up next week and I have a tentative plan mapped out for our week- but park hours are not out. Until I see the EMH park days and hours I can't make solid reservations...just make them and try to tweak them down the road?

And how much longer til April 2010 hours come out? TIA!:yay:

I am looking at April hours for last year and going by that. We will have a car so if my days are off a little it shouldn't be a problem.

I am hoping hours get released soon too, hopefully before next Tues when we all can book our ressies.

I am in the same boat! We're going in April also...We went April last year, and I remember hours being out. But this time, they aren't. Makes planning a little tough.

I'm in the same boat, but for FEBRUARY! I'm surprised hours are not released yet for such a close date! Maybe they'll do it since they're letting us book 180 out...

We just make them. If anything major changes, we change them down the road. In most cases, we don't really worry about the park hours, and kind of hope we hit each of them when it is NOT an EMH day anyway. :)

I have always based my future ADRs on historical park hours. Disney usually keeps them about the same. I also pretty much know where I'm going to be..I don't make an ADR that is really hugely important if I'm not sure which park I'll be in. When park hours do come out, I can tweak my ADRs but for the most part, they have been fine.
I love booking at the 180 day window. But, I'm an old hand at booking ADRs without park hours being out, so it's no big deal for me anymore.
The problem with getting park hours out at the 180 day mark is that Disney can change those hours at any time. I would rather base my ADRs on the minimum hours and then be happy if there are longer hours given.

I sure hope so!

I'm trying to plan for next September and it's a headache not knowing what the park hours will be! My 180 day mark is March 29, but if hours aren't released, we have to just hope for the best using last year's numbers. PLUS we're planning on MNNSHP and they don't release those dates until late May/early June :headache:. We really want to book Le Cellier and I would hate to lose the ressies due to park hours...

I'm still waiting for FEBRUARY TOO! We're going 4 days in Jan and 4 in Feb and I can't plan anything till I know the magic hours!

I try to plan out what days we're going to be in which parks based on the historical attendance calendar from touring plans. Also, we usually always go back to the resort to shower and change for dinner and then head to Epcot WS or one of the resorts for dinner. We get hoppers just so we can spend our evenings eating and drinking in Epcot! :dance3::dance3::dance3:

We always book dinner at 6:30 for park restaurants so it doesnt matter to me when the park hours come out.

This has never been a major problem for me. I like my lunch sometime around noon, and my dinner about six or seven, so I book 'em based upon which park I plan to visit each day.

However breakfast ADRs can be a bit more of a problem because I like to enter the park before opening time. So, I book my breakfast ADRs (Tusker House, Hollywood & Vine and Crystal Palace) for 8:05 am or so, and assume that the park will be opening at 9:00 am. If it ain't 9:00 when the hours are posted, I change the ADR if possible, and if not possible I simply cancel it.

Works for me.

I'm in the same boat. I'm going in February and I can't believe the hours aren't out yet. We aren't doing park hoppers and I really like to enjoy EMH (one of the benefits of staying on Disney property). I've been trying to look at historical hours and looking at January 2010 hours - there seems to be some pattern to the hours. I'm thinking of doing the counter service plan though because I don't know if I want to HAVE to be at this park, at this time during my stay. I'd like to be more flexible. I don't know yet, but it feels like 10-27 is going to be a busy morning.

Yeah, it's not so much the hours as much as it is about either avoiding EMH parks on certain days- OR in the case of MK we looooove to do the evening EMH and need to know what day that hits on in order to not book an Epcot restaurant for dinner. We never do hoppers so the days and times really matter to us.

We are among the few on here that don't really worry about the hours. We make our ADRs for the restaurants we want, at the times we want and then plan our days as the time gets closer. We get the hopper option so that makes it much easier. Park in the morning, pool in the afternoon and then whichever park for dinner.

There are also things that don't happen every day of the week for part of the year like Spectro or Fantasmic and we usually want to make our plans around those so hopefully they'll be better with releasing hours with the switch to 180 days.

As some have already mentioned, I use my previous years' schedule. And in most cases, I tend not to change most of it. Sometimes, the dates and ADRs work so well, I try not to change them unless I need to. We change some restaurants if we decide we don't like them anymore or add a different restaurant because we want to try it or we decided to add this to our favourites list so now we have to go there twice!:thumbsup2

I'll be checking when the 180 day window comes out. I will be probably making ADRs that day, but since we're only doing the QSDP, we'll onlly need a few Table Services, (T Rex, maybe Chefs if Remy will still be there, and Boma) so I won't need to worry to much about reservations. I heard the hours will be out for february when they put out the 180 date.
