Let's start a fun thread.
How do you get your Disney fix?
It is harder for us to get to Disney because we live in the midwest, but when I am missing it or just need a Disney fix we watch a lot of youtube videos on walking through the parks or special events.

I'm in the Midwest too. I have quite a few Disney specials taped ( DVR) so when I need a fix I watch those :-)
I'm fortunate enough to be able to go to WDW 4-5 times a year so I usually only need my fix sometime over the summer since I never go then....it's too darn hot!!

Youtube or look through my pictures of the last time I was there. And countdown to my next trip - that really helps!

Nothing puts me right in the Disney themed mind like the hold music on the reservation line. I seriously wish that every hold line was so cheerful music taking me back "home". I try to listen online to themed music since I can't sit on their hold line for hours (unless it is FD booking time :rotfl2:).

We are in Ohio so I get it, not just somplace we can run to on a weekend! Though someday...but I digress. We have a "tradition" so to speak on Sunday mornings, we get the paper, turn on Mouseworld radio (radio one) listen to the "Good Morning" song at 9 and then listen to the Magic Kingdom Loop until we are done with the paper. We then visit the DW site and watch the videos on each park. That gets us through until a visit. It also helps that my whole family are Disney freaks so we talk about visits whenever we are together, never gets old!

Listening to the disney parks soundtrack, watching disney movies, playing disney board games, and planning the next trip. :goodvibes

YouTube:thumbsup2 I ride all the rides and walkthrough all the parks. And ,of course, Disboards.

We've got hours of WDW videos we took over the years and it seems the ones we repeat most often are of us on some form of Disney transport. We've got several of us in the Main St trolly heading up to the castle, one of my daughter, SIL and grandkids on the front of the monorail going from MK to Epcot. Watching these always puts me 'in the moment', as though I'm there. Another is just wifey and I near Norway in WS in which we're debating what day of the week it is as the Norwegian Band played in the background. We're going back in Oct and as Summer fades I'll pull them out and get in the mood.

Looking at all of our photos from past trips really helps me. Unfortunately, the more I think about Disney the more likely I am to book another trip. Last October we said "we're done with Disney for a few years." And guess who's going again this November? :rolleyes1

Although I can justify that...DD16 will be a Junior this year so pulling her out of school during her Senior year isn't really an option. And after that, she'll be gone to college. We never have and never will go in summer (too hot!) or holidays (too crowded!) so we truly do not plan on returning for several years after this last trip. Plus, too many changes and it's lost a bit of the magic for us, so we're eager to try somewhere else as we enter into the next chapter of our lives.

Listen to Walt Disney World channels on live365.com or the app Live 365, some favorites are WDW Touring Radio, Reedy Creek Radio, Magical Mouse Radio.

I also occasionally watch attractions on youtube, etc. Follow websites like doctordisney.com, wdwprespchool.com, disboards.com - anything to always keep me knowing what's going on in my home away from home.

We usually go once a year - my dream would be 3 times a year for short trips, and one long trip. :)

here on the DIS and planning the next trip.....and the next
scrapbooks and photos help too..........but I like planning the best

I listen to various podcasts and visit many of the web sites. We only go every 4-5 years so withdrawal is a real issue. ;)

My favorite thing to do is watch the 90s ABC Disney World episodes (Full House, Step By Step, Family Matters, and more....I have them all recorded). Also I love to get my fix by watching the Caroline Rhea 25th anniversary special and the Remember the Magic parade on YouTube.

Checking this board, Disney World tag on tumblr, watching videos on YouTube, and wearing Disney stuff (shirts, tanks, Vera Bradley purse, Mickey ring-everyday!)...I also spend a lot of time mentally planning/scheming trips to Disney!

I try to make it to a Disney Store whenever I am close to one. I live in the midwest as well and they are few and far between. We just got back from a trip to Destin, FL and luckily their outlet mall had a Disney Store. I just love how they call you princess when you come in and the music playing. Then of course planning the next trip (December for us). Last but certainly not least the DISBOARDS of course. I read trip reports and look at reviews daily!

Lately, I've been reading trip reports, though it stinks reading about Legacy FP. I also watch the television specials that are on YouTube or ride-throughs.

My favorite inadvertent one was when I went to spray the kids with sunscreen. It must be the same brand we used the last time we went because I instantly felt like I was back there again. Makes me smile! I wasn't going to buy it anymore because of all of the warnings about the spray but I saw it is on clearance and may need to buy some for myself. LOL
