How Do You Get Your Child in the SW Parade?

How do you get to have your child participate in the Star Wars Parade? We'll be going to DHS in June during the SW weekend. We are able to sign up for our fastpasses tomorrow, Wed. Do we need to sign up for something in advance to have our child participate in the SW parade?

For the past few years, the Younglings, who were signed up for the JTA session immediately following the parade, marched in the parade with the JTA cast. Parents and families also marched behind the Youngling group... pretty sure parents had to accompany them.

how do you sign up for the Jedi Training? Can you FP+? Or do some online sign up in advance?

Or do you need a runner at rope drop to the place next to American idol and sign them up, on the day, first thing in the morning?

Runner with child @ rope drop and on a SWW, the sign-ups are held at the Indiana Jones Stunt Show. On a regular park day, it will be at the Sounds Dangerous/Sound Studio.

Yes, and as Itinkso posted, the child(ren) being signed up must be there as well.
