How do you get the A/V ports to work at Pop Century?

I am currently at Pop Century (busy here right now!) and I would like to view some of my video before I go to make sure I got a few things. (Had a few taping issues LOL)

So, how do you get the ports on the front of the TV to work. Other places I have been, all I had to do was plug it in, turn on the camera and it automatically recognized that it was there. Is there a trick? Or am I not doing something right.

Thanks for any help!

Debbie

Not entirely sure, but you probably have to use the TV/Video button on your remote to get the TV switched to a different video input.

I think we had to change the channel to 3 or 4 and it said AV or video on the screen. I then hooked up my camera and turned it on. You might need to do as SyracuseWolvrine said but I don't remember.

Are you having fun?

Hey Bobcat :)

Yes having fun here. Hopefully tomorrow will not be a busy!

Unfortunately there is not TV/VCR button the remote. It is one of those remotes that does not have any numbers, just up and down channel and volume, mute and power.

Oh well... I tried. Thanks for the replies.

Try going to the lowest channel number and then pressing "channel down" once, twice, or three times, until the output from your camera appears. If that fails, go to the highest channel number and do the same with "channel up".

This is how it works with the TV sets at Saratoga Springs, which are probably about the same vintage as those at PoP.

Good luck.

Cigar95 has the right idea. The "A/V Input" channel is either channel 00, or you can go up/down to get there. When you channel up or down to get there, it will say "A/V Input" on the TV screen, where it would usually say the network name.

Since some TVs have multiple A/V inputs, they may have multiple settings to choose which one. That's why I suggested doing the "channel up" maybe as many as three times. Even though the WDW sets have only one set of inputs (on the front panel), the ones at SSR are set up for three different possibilities.

I haven't seen a WDW TV set with A/V *outputs* for a long time. I'd really like to tape the "top seven attractions" video. (Chrissa's a real cutie!)
