How do you get shockwave on a mac?

We just got a new Imac computer, im on it at the moment and really wanted to try out vmk on here.. but vmk requires shockwave and when i went to go download shockwave on here, the directions to download shockwave were really confusing... so does anybody know how to download shockwave onto a mac?

should start downloading and your download manager should pop up

whenfinished double click on shockwave in your download manager

enter password

hit install!

no, i do not get that set of directions, i get the set of directions that tells me to use rosetta emulation mode. and i have no idea how to do so.

directions that i see...

1. quit out of the browser
2. go to your applications folder and control-click on the browser application bundle
3. in the context menu that appears select get info.
4. under the general heading of the info dialog select open using rosetta.
5. close the info dialog box.

I get stuf at control-click on the browser application bundle.. i cant find application bundle...

are you trying to install the the Intel version of Shockwave? that's the one you need for a new iMac.
