How do you get pin codes?

I am registered on the WDW website, Disney family site, and the Movie Rewards site. We go to Disney every year during the month of December and sometimes in October as well. I keep reading about the wonderful pin codes that you all get. I have never gotten a pin code. I want a pin code!!!!! Any suggestions? Thanks......

I think it's just luck.

I've done most of what you said and went on the disney website and saved a fake vacation to try and get one. I ordered the free maps too.

The only time I got one was when I had an AP and then it was an AP code not an actual pin code.

I really want one for Memorial Weekend and the week after Thanksgiving next year.

I hope we get one!

5 days ago I registered my DH using his email address. Saved 5 vacation quotes and answered anything that I thought would possible give me a chance of receiving a code. This morning my DH said to me that he received two emails from Disney Destinations last night. So I went and looked and received two codes. Both of the emails contained the same saved quote information but with two different pin codes for the 20, 30 and 40% off for most of 2010. I went an applied one of those codes to our existing ressie and added two more nights for less than what it was costing me for 5 nights. We have been going to Disney since 1991 and I am registered under my email and my information. I guess my DH had the luck. So don't give up hope. Here's some for you. Keep the faith.

I've tried this and I didn't get any pin or email or anything. I've got so many worthless Disney emails hitting my inbox, but no pins. I think I live too close to the Mouse.

I will send some your way hoping that you will get a pin code soon. I had many emails from Disney to my email address but nothing with a code.

1) You have to put your name on the Pin Code list.
2) This is the same list that gets you free upgrades at check-in.

NOTE: The guys that administer this list are the same ones who sold hall passes in high school.

There is no obvious rhyme or reason as to who gets and who doesn't .I am about to have my 23 visit and up until this year never got one. MY SIL who owns DVC and goes to Disney several times per year always gets pincodes.My neighbor who went once gets them all the time too.No rhyme or reason.

Just keep visiting their site. That's what I did. I think they're hurting for 2010 reservations, everyone is getting that deal. Just give it some time and keep visiting their site

Hi there! I can hopefully offer up some suggestions....
make sure everytime you go to disney.com you're logged in. Once you're logged in, price out vacations...you can then save up to 5 vacation offers. when you're done, go to the top of the page and click on "Walt Disney World". (it'll take you to the home page) Then a box should pop up w/ a survey asking you why you're not ready to book today. I always chose " still deciding" or " prices are not the best value"..... at the bottom you can add your own comment. I always put that we're still undecided and not really sure if we're ready, but Thank you very much". I can't tell you how many times I think I did this. ( it seems like a million) But I just kept pricing vacations, saving them, did live chat w/ a cast member enough that I should now BE a cast member......

Another thing to do is order the vacation DVD. Now, here's a weird thing. I did all this for like a month, then I went to "Free Vacation DVD" and you'll see where it says "My Disney Video PLanner". You can make your own Disney Vacation video w/ the information you choose. The next day after I did that is when we got the code. it was so weird. ( don't know if that had anything to do w/ it, but you never know.)

We got the email ( in our spam folder, so look there) from Disney Destinations. The email that came said " Explore your Disney Resorts ___ Family". it had a picture of the GF ( the resort that I always priced and saved) and the EXACT week that I priced and saved. so, if you get that email, scroll down because at the bottom right of the email it will say this:

Updated my info and preferences for communication
Take the WDW research survey's while I'm there~I even search out the CM' say hello and chat them up in hopes of getting a survey
Order a planning dvd every year
joined the movie club (on the off shot that it worked)
called CRO and ask for pin's (i am not too proud to beg)
signed up DH for a wdw account and fudged how many times he has been (i picked once in the 70's)
visit the website weekly
started saving vacation offers about a month ago
cleared my cookies and did it again 2 weeks ago
secretly hated all Dis'sers getting the fabulous pin's
didn't go on the site for about a week -10 days
went online today to price for a friend, got a survey, did it and tonight I got the email for the 40% off most of 2010 pin offer.

I got the 20%,30%,40% pin by saving vacation offers for different packages...the pins came in an email that detailed the deluxe resort I had looked at.

Just keep trying, you'll get one eventually.
