I am a little confused about something ..... if we wanted to get our friends into OKW with us how would we get them a 1 bedroom villa paying cash? Do we go through MS or 407-w-disney?

Also, we have another dilema ..... we booked back in June at BCV at the 7 month window. Our friends have been waiting to sell their house and couldn't commit until now that they were going to come with us. So now we have a BCV and they have nothing. We all really want to stay in the same resort. So, should we book them a regular room at BCV and pay out the wazoo (almost 2k for 4 nights) or should we move to OKW where there is availability or should we keep trying for the BCV? Staying at seperate resorts is not an option. We are going to WDW to be together.

Them moving was a very, very sad occassion between their family and ours. We all miss each other very much. Our kids are only months apart and are all best friends. My kids have been to WDW every year since they were born and the other 2 kids have never been.

AHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! I am pulling my hair out. I don't know what to do! I really wanted to stay at BCV.

To have your friends pay cash, they would have to call CRO. If you pay for a discounted cash room at BCV, the owner MUST be the person staying in the room.

As to the other part of your question about BCV or OKW...If staying together was the main concern, I would get a 2 bedroom at OKW. It saves you points, you will have larger accommodations, and it truely feels like a vacation home. I have never felt the smaller accommodations at the DVC resorts built after OKW are conducive to travel by multiple families in one unit.

WOW......
I think if I were in your situation, and they were my best friends, being affordably "together" would be more the priority than the BCV.

I would get a 2 bdrm villa @ OKW and enjoy the together time!
OR
If you want seperate units, I would go to the rent trade board and rent 1 bdrm pts @ OKW. Renting points are certainly cheaper than thru Disney. You can compare the prices on the official WDW site.

Best of Luck and have a "Magical" time!! :wizard:

If you booked in June, does that mean you are going in Feb? Usually a slower time for WDW. I would book the 2 b/r at OKW and waitlist for the 2 b/r at BCV and see what happens. Just remember that if the weather is colder, the appeal of SAB may be less (not sure if that was a deciding factor for your family or not).

Hope you guys have a great trip!!!

I was just throwing June out there as when I booked it when actually I don't know when I booked it, it was just on the first day of the 7 month window. We are going 12/1-12/5

I asked dh about staying at OKW and he said that we are staying at BCV and that we would have to just keep trying. I was able to get them the garden view room at BCV, I just hope it's not too much money. If it is, they can always book over at the Swan or Dolphin with the nurses discount and that's not that far.
