Bought some pork tenders at the store today for 3.08 for 7 of them I think. How would you fix them? We dont like mushrooms or anything, so that is out. If it was beef, I would put tomato sauce on them and put them in the electric skillet and simmer them, but didnt know if pork would taste ok that way.

Another way I thought about was making it like chicken fried steak with egg and cracker crumbs, but the last time I did that, it didnt taste as good as my mouth was wanting. LOL

So Im all up for suggestions.

I'm not sure what pork tenders are, but for boneless pork chops my family's favorite thing by far is Oven Fry for Pork extra crispy. It is amazingly good -- Shake and Bake, is just a pale imitation, if that's what you're thinking.

I'm mostly a from scratch cook, but this is a product (originally discovered by my country-cooking mama) I never intend to give up.

put them on the pit! That is how we do ours. or cut them into chunks and make a spaghetti from them. Pork spaghetti is the best!:worship:

I don't' know what pork tenders are either, but when I buy boneless chops, I throw them (frozen) in the crock pot with a sliced onion, a can of golden mushroom soup (we don't eat shrooms either, but you'll never know they are in this soup), a packet of dry onion soup mix and a can of water (mix the soup, water and dry mix together and just pour over the chops). Cook on low all day and serve over rice. One of my go to favs!

i would put them in my crockpot with some BBQ sauce - unless they are thin then I'd second the vote for pork Oven Fry!! YUM

I'm guessing you mean pork cutlets...If they are really thin, you could dredge them in seasoned flour and fry them, then serve on a bun like a chicken sandwich. BBQ sauce is always good on these as well. If they are thicker, my go to recipe is with sauteed apples, onions, and blue cheese mixed into a roux based sauce. Serve with garlic mashed potatoes and a veggie of choice. Yummy!

I dip them in egg and then coat them in Panko crumbs and fry in a light olive oil. Everyone in my family loves them.
